Yes please, but possibly El Miz in for Evans? Burns (or KVY) and Edwards give us a pair of mega-attacking wingbacks, so happy to have that solid midfield base and back three. Not sure whether it should be Aluko, Celina or Chaplin in behind the front two, all good options. Edit: ...all VERY good options. [Post edited 28 Dec 2021 9:44]

Thought Aluko was excellent v Sunderland and deserves a starting place

Aluko was close to motm against Sunderland so can't really replace him. Evans also very good first half but had a dodgy 20mins in second half. No reason to change it at all from Sunderland game. Just need a bit more cohesion in final 3rd.

Is that what you want rather than what team is likely to be best? Why would you have Burns at the back? He plays brilliantly ahead of Donacien. I can’t see Evans being dropped for Harper and Norwood won’t be any good up front on his own. Obviously McKenna was at the Sunderland game and it depends what he thought then and what has gone on in training! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I’m thinking McK would like to get 3 points in his first game so I’ll rest easy in the knowledge he won’t be following your advise

Advice? The OP asked what we think could be the lineup. Must have missed the part where it says KM is asking twtd posters on how he should lineup.

Ok I stand corrected , wrong terminology I suspect That aside , if that’s your proposed line up you need to stop smoking whatever you’re smoking Explain the thought process behind Burns ,Harper and Norwood at least now I’ve taken the blôôdy bait

Purely a guess on what it could be... It could simply be unchanged from last week of course. We don't know. But now on our 3rd manager of the season, if we were to again go 4 2 3 1 it would be interesting to see it done with some form of difference.

Burns. Been fullback before. And we have aluko. Chance to use both. Norwood.. only striker scoring recently. Harper.. got a feeling we might see him again under new management. As mentioned above I'd go personally with similar to last week. But if we are to revert back to 4 2 3 1. I'd like to think we'd see something different than previous. But no one knows. Hence the OP doesn't have a clue. Neither do I or anyone else.

I'm assuming (probably wrongly) that Walton, Edmundson, Burns, Donacien, Morsy and Bonne will start. Other than that, anybodies guess....... [Post edited 28 Dec 2021 11:53]

Team for tomorrow? on 11:52 - Dec 28 with 2358 views | pointofblue | I imagine it will be the same XI which played Sunderland, considering we did quite well for the most part, injuries and Covid permitting. Unless McKenna has seen something on the training pitch which he would like to try.

Let’s hope not as you have basically replaced one of our best defenders with one of our best attackers and have a forward who’s better as a pair as a lone striker ! Looking forward to seeing who McKenna picks though ! COYB

It's a perfectly reasonable team, I'm not sure why it has had such criticism. However, I would prefer to stick with the 3-4-1-2.

Come again !! Explain to me playing Burns at right back who’s one of our best attacking players ,Norwood up front on his own who can only ever be effective in a 2 and Harper- well just why and how ? Convince me

Team for tomorrow? on 16:52 - Dec 28 with 1847 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Assuming no unexpected unavailability, I think Walton is nailed on as keeper, Norwood is likely to start alongside Bonne. I would expect Celina to play if he is available but not sure that Aluko will be dropped. Perhaps Aluko at 10 and Celina wide. If Burns is available I would expect him to play. Morsy and Edmondson will start. The others will be interesting to see who is chosen. I am sure McKenna will have studied more than just the last match and training will be taken into account as well. The formation will be interesting and what changes he makes at different stages of the match will be too. I am expecting him to adjust things as needed during a match and to make far better use of subs too.

Team for tomorrow? on 16:59 - Dec 28 with 1829 views | RobTheMonk | It's actually quite exciting not knowing what sort of team we'll be putting out tomorrow. If it was Cook, I could guarentee it would be 4-2-3-1 with no deviation no matter how the game was going.
Team for tomorrow? on 20:20 - Dec 28 with 1683 views | quad | Why does Toto seem to be completely out of favour with everyone? Cook said he was one of the best defenders in the league and he had a really positive effect when he came back into the team. He goes over to the fans in the Charlton game to plead that he is giving his all, gets a negative reaction from them, then he's dropped for Wolf and now people are acting like he's not even a consideration for the starting lineup? Unless he's injured I think it's incredibly harsh on him.
