Allow the downvotes to commence...

Let Norwood's contract run it's course.

Don't buy Bonne regardless of what division we're in.

One goal in 17 for Bonne is nowhere near good enough for a relegation fighting team, let alone a promotion chasing side. Not looked good since his early season purple patch.

And on Norwood, I think it could turn out like Gwi Edwards/Burns. People wanted to keep Edwards because he was 'decent enough'. Nors is decent enough, but there will be better strikers on the market, like there was a far better winger on the market to replace GE with Wes.

I'd let Norwood and Jackson go at the end of season.

Would love to keep Pigott and hope he can work his way in to the side, unless we get a decent offer.

Keep Bonne.

A lot of people seem to do that on here. Oh sorry, you said slagging. My mistake, as you were.

only at ITFC could "supporters" forget the contribution one of their own had given at the start of the season.
Not to mention the off the ball running he puts in now still.

Really does depend on what league we're in I think. Not sure a Championship level starting striker is currently in the squad but some of those here can do a job in League One

Can't see Norwood's contract getting renewed unless he steps things up from here. He's 32, he'll be on a fair wedge, we'll surely want that slot and that money targeted at someone with a higher ceiling and potential to develop?

Bonne's got 12 goals and 2 assists in 29 games. That's already the best output for a season we've had from a striker since Waghorn. He's always available, he contributes to our general play. he works hard and is a good influence around the club. If we want to get someone better in ahead of him, great, but if we can make him permanent, we'd be daft not to have him as part of the group.

Yeah, I'd definitely dip on Bonne. Does a lot of work off the ball, never drops his head and he'll come good again for goals at some point.

Think Jackson and Norwood as out of contract will be gone . Pigott will stay and Bonne will be bought using the funds released via the first two.. Expecting some young whizz kid from manure as backup along with Simpson if he signs up. If not he will be sold too.

Bonne is going through a tough spell, can't knock his effort, movement off the ball and his work rate. Definitely good enough to play at this level.

He had a lot of chances last night, won't be long before he's hitting the back of the net again. The previous few games the team have been struggling to create chances of any sort.

Wouldn't argue that Bonne isn't an obvious Championship player (aside from the fact he technically is) but saying that, if he proves to be part of a promotion winning team, I imagine we'll all be falling over backwards again desperate to sign him won't we?

He'll still play the majority of games between now and the end of the season. Let's say he ends on 15 goals, we're not going to say no thanks if the option to sign him becomes available in the summer.

And basically force him into revealing details about his personal life because he was getting messages on social media about his form. And even then, select idiots show little sympathy.

He has an 11-goal season at Championship level already.

I don't think that is drastically controversial.

Would allow Norwood & Jackson to move on.

Would prefer to give Pigott more game time before we move him on - has never seemed to have a real fair crack yet.

I wouldn't break the bank for Bonne, but if a sensible deal could be done - I'd do it. He stock is nowhere near the level it was in January.

It was said some time back within the club as it was under Evans that Norwood and Jackson were not deemed to be top end Division one standard. Can't remember , quite genuinely, who it was, think it was our first season down.

Mate, I support the club fully. But I can voice my opinion on different players if I choose to. And personally, I don’t see a lot of what Bonne does that other strikers couldn’t do and some.

Off the ball running does not mean he’s a good player. Jackson does a lot of that too.

Correct Texters. Bonne's contribution is more than goals. He keeps getting in the right position and the goals will come. To be fair, service to him has been limited to say the least at times.

Norwood silly has contributed or committed enough over the past three seasons. Couple that to his age and tiresome off pitch antics and he's probably a goner.

Assuming we are still marooned in this rubbish bin league, buy Bonne and keep Pigott, replace Norwood and the other one. Bring Simpson, if he settles and proves himself, into the first team squad and try and find somebody else.

I know Norwood has a big cult following/is popular and has a good goals ratio, but in his time here he’s not played enough games. He’s 32 and surely there’s better out there.

I think it all depends on what league were in next season.

If we're still in league 1, I think Bonne and Norwood plus a quick fox in the box type player and a unit who can properly hold the ball up, win the flick ons and bring others into play is required to give KMac options... and goals.

If we go up, with aspirations to stay there, I think we'd need a new set of 4 in all honesty. Maybe Bonne is good enough to be 1 of the 4, but if we was our best and first choice, I don't think that would be strong enough. Just look at the squad depth of even middle of the table championship sides and the quality is frightening compared to what we currently have.
