Anyone have any when it comes to ITFC?

Walk the same way before a game? Go through the same turnstile?

Well when we were four games unbeaten (Burton game) in our current run of 11 unbeaten I said I wouldn’t get my haircut until we lost again, now sort of regretting it as hair looks a mess but don’t want to risk getting it cut whilst the season is still alive hahaha.

Plus it’s going a bit thin on top so trying to keep it as long as possible.

Yes!

Replica Abbot Ale retro shirt, now have to stop to but Mars bar, crisps and drink from same service station just south of Colchester on A12 and chips from the same van inside the fan zone so far 4/4 in wins when done that.

Mine always used to be a burger from the stand outside the away end.

Can't do that anymore, more's the pity as they were excellent burgers.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Yeah I’m not sure why they’re not there anymore, I’m not 100% but I think one of the old boys that worked on that one passed away.

Badger was so confident in Lambert's qualities, he promised to not cut his hair until we'd been promoted. Def info.

Not a superstition, but we haven’t lost at home since my boy was born on the 23rd December. Now some would say that’s because McKenna has come in and transformed us, but I’m definitely putting it down to the boy being a lucky charm so far!

I go upstairs in the club shop to the window that overlooks the pitch and start to masturbate. I haven't been arrested so far.

We always go through the same gate until we lose. Has to be an even number.

Gate 44 is working well since KMac came in!

Hundreds!

Although one of them was busted on Saturday as the “lucky Reuser turnstile” (number 30) was shut and I had to use a different one!

I’ve developed so many over the years, it’s borderline OCD, although if the last 20 years has taught me anything, it’s that none of them bloody work!

Maybe he’s the antidote to my eldest daughter.

She was born in the summer of 2005. We’ve declined ever since, save for one PO season one under Mick.

I've entered via turnstile 34 since the new SBR opened. I used the same turnstile location before that too.
I also always get a bacon and onion roll. It used to be from Sally and Clive, but I think covid saw them out of business. I go to the replacement van in the same place (behind Beat).

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

I don’t read Tom’s (and formerly Harry’s) opposition preview until after the game. If I do it before we won’t win.

Lucky paisley patterned pants in the 70,s and standing in the same spot in the North Stand.
Benson and Hedges only in the 80,s when smoking was allowed in the stadium.
Same scarf in the 90,s. Lost that in the melee of the play off final.
As I’m an old git now, generally don’t have any.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

What I’m taking from this is that we need you to to produce A LOT more kids, ideally one a month or two. We could make it a club communal effort by integrating it into half time entertainment. I’m sure the American owners and new US fans would appreciate a bit of alternative ‘rodeo’

Or is that going a bit far?

I have worn the same scarf to every Ipswich match I have been to since I was given it for Christmas 1998. Probably more of a habit than superstition though. Both of my sons were bought scarves before their first matches and part of our ritual now is for me to hand them out when we arrive.

I wear the same pants for the next game after we've won. I didn't attend the games when we lost under McK and didn't wear the pants. this season has been particularly bad because this has extended to the same pair of socks for winning games.

I would add that they are only worn for matches and not for general wear and that if we get promoted it's going to be down to Brogans lucky socks and pants not McK's managerial acumen.

Christian Walton is fastidious about how neatly his towel is folded up when he leaves it just inside the goal-mouth. My friend and I (fellow poster, so sorry if you see I've exposed our superstition!) noticed it and also noticed that we only concede goals or have near misses when the towel has become rumpled. Luckily Christian is obsessive about getting back into a neat fold at the earliest opportunity.

Since we've started towel-watch we haven't lost a game at home. We have a mantra which we chant during matches - "WHEN THE TOWEL IS NEAT, THERE'S NO DEFEAT"

THIS IS DEMOC-RRRRRRR-ACY MANIFEST!
