Meanwhile George Galloway has a fascist symbol shaved into his son's head and retweets Russian propaganda denying war crimes as a false flag.

Another example of the horseshoe theory.

I agree, I've lost count of how many times I've expressed the same opinion only for someone to come back with me showing a really cool drawing of a distorted horse shoe.

I've been to countless demos when I was a pedlar and they are all nuts - both sides. Have to say though I will take my hat off to the crusties, much more organised - and lethal with it.

Not really. In the main they were either rich or members of the aristocracy so most got away with it.

You have to wonder what is about the racist, authoritarian, master race believing, survival of the fittest ideology of the nazis that so appeal to the royals?

No, got nothing, sorry.

Maybe one of the board royalists would care to explain how it is that an ex British King encouraged the Nazi's to bomb London?

Or how he was allowed to live post war as if nothing happened...

With what emerged in that documentary the other day Edward 8th should have been hanged as a traitor like William Joyce. It wouldn’t have been the first time a king or ex-king was bumped off.

But that’s privilege for you.

See also Mountbattens attempt to overthrow the legitimate UK government and replace them with himself and a few of his elite mates. No punishment whatsoever (Though around Leitrim/sligo there a few rumours that the British state did very little to protect mountbatten and may have even been somehow involved in his death). That narrative is that they would prefer him to be remembered as the poor bloke blown up by the IRA then the traitor who tried to overthrow the British government in a military coup.

For me it's clear.

All Royals are nazis, all coppers are corrupt fascists, all Scousers are loveable angels, air travel must be limited - unless travelling to Argentina for a steak and people should drive eco friendly vehicles unless it's a gas guzzling motorbike.

In answer to your more direct question, I couldn't suggest hanging Edward V111 as I am against capital punishment but would have been happy for him to have been arrested and tried for treason when he revisited UK.

A thread featuring Nazi Germany and the IRA wouldn't be complete without this reminder.

And of course who could forget Éamon de Valera sending condolences to the German government after the death of Hitler and dismissed reports of atrocities at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp as ‘anti-national propaganda’.

Awful man. I’d classify that as abuse as well because I bet his son has no clue what it means.

No, as obviously it would have been before the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867.

You probably meant the Holy Roman Empire.
