She’s my MP (Sevenoaks). Trott can afford to distance herself as come what may, she will retain her seat after the bloodbath at the next election.

My MP was part of the first lot. Which was quite a surprise, given I had seen him as a straight-down-the-line government loyalist (whoever the government happened to be). I guess because a) he knows Johnson is about to fall; and b) he has a pretty slim majority.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Boris did promise to get things done and you can't argue with the speed at which he works.

Treehousegate was last week. But was also FOUR scandals ago! We've had Carriegate, BJgate, Pinchergate and Quitgate since then.

Have bought an extra big bag of popcorn for today. It's wonderful watching these b*stards slowly fall.

The best bit is that Boris won't go. If he had walked, there was a chance of someone just as evil coming in but at least someone slick enough to fool enough people to vote Tory, but the fact Boris will have to be dragged out of number 10 with his pants around his ankles and Dorries probably hanging onto one of his socks, means that it'll do a load more damage yet to the party.

Finally able to enjoy the ride. We won't stop the scum hurting the country or the people in the short term, so we have to take what little joy we can from watching them lose the jobs they were never fit to have as they slowly realise that even their blind loyalty to the idiot has to stop at some point before they completely ruin what chances they have of salvaging some career as an after dinner speaker when they are no longer able to blag a top job just by being prepared to turn a blind eye.

They’re turning with their readers. Not many know or remember Zahawi’s links to the President’s Club so they can pretend it never happened.

Robin Walker - Minister for School Standards has now gone.

This is a good exercise in finding out who these low level Tories are, and the names of random government departments.

Also, Javid will be making a statement to the house later. That will be top viewing
