I'd hate to think how many months (years?) they've wasted over internal politics and the fall out from it, when as you say there's a desperate need for good governance to get on top of all the problems. Although a bit of chicken and egg, as a good government wouldn't have as many self inflicted problems to deal with. Arguably all of Brexit falls under the wasted time category too, as it wasn't needed and was all about internal battles. |  |
