Thick as slurry, doesn’t do reading, listening, slow on the uptake, unpleasant. She won’t change, she can’t change. Why they gave that the PM job is beyond me and how the heck the tories have the support they do is is also beyond me.

They support her because she's like them: thick as slurry, slow on the uptake, and unpleasant.

Presumably she is being used as cannon fodder for the collapse of the government.

Exactly what I think too. They know she’s useless. They’ll bring “Boris” back after they lose the next election.

George Canning managed 118 days. I think she might beat that by some distance. Worth remembering though that if the tories collapse then Boris might loose his seat. If suffolk starts to turn something other than blue then it will be seismic.

Depends what it’s saying. It’s a bit out of kilter with other polls (which all have the lead in the upper teens to low 20s).

I've stopped taking YouGov surveys - am no statistician, but found almost every survey contained one or more flawed questions - eg what is your current job, with no 'retired' or 'N/A' options.

Rather as if the NHS were to 'bring back the bubonic' plague because Covid has gone. Johnson left office as one of the most unpopular PM since in 1800's, booted out by a majority of his own MPs and 3 by elections which saw some of the worst electoral swings away from the Tory Party in living memory. There is also the no small matter of the Parliamentary privileges committee's report. One which the govt has spent over £110,000 trying to get blocked. I wonder why. If they do find him guilty as that attempt would suggest. the suspension will bar him from office. Yes, his re-instatement would be a blessing to the opposition, but even Tories aren't that dim

During the leadership campaign, there was a school of thought that they were looking to bring Johnson back with a matter of months to clean up her mess. That seemed a bit fanciful at the time, but not any more. I know you said something along the lines of BCWYWF. And a lot of people thought she would be really bad. But she’s outdone even the worst of expectations. Truly catastrophic so far.

Any other leader would be 34 points ahead on 18:58 - Sep 29 with 2091 views | HARRY10 | During the summer there was much talk of the bloater attending the Tory conference as some returning hero. To be greeted with queues that would dwarf that of those wanting to see the Queen lying in state (bloater lying in a state some wags had commented) Carried in shoulder high, by a forklift, the walrus of waffle would (after pulling his shirt out, tying his tie too long and ruffling his hair) address the massed ranks of the habitually dim (righties). Alas, it is not to be so it seems. Perhaps it is a fear of journalists asking awkward questions about levelling up, appointing the useless Patel to curb channel crossings or his lies about the NI protocol, it is not known. But what is known is the corpulent crap spouter appears to be following his usual pattern of lying low. So I suspect the conference will be as much about who is not there.........wags might add that most Tories are not 'all there', but as Gove* said ''we've had enough of experts'' * who he ?
