I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday 08:47 - Jan 6 with 2698 views | gtsb1966 | Anyone else feel the same. The amount of injuries we have had and some tired looking players we could do with just league games. Please, please do not got to a replay.
I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 08:50 - Jan 6 with 2440 views | GeoffSentence | Nah, I want us to win everything. But it would be better to lose than draw.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 08:55 - Jan 6 with 2392 views | Rimsy | Normally I'd be keen for a cup run, but not this season. We must get promotion so anything that could potentially affect that, like injuries to key players, should be avoided. Put out a complete second string to give them a run out.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 08:57 - Jan 6 with 2370 views | Rozz | Nope. Good opportunity to put down another marker of our progress, and it's a week to recover for Plymouth. Injuries can happen in any game, and I think a KMc will be sensible in making sure everyone has minutes to keep them ticking over.
I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 08:58 - Jan 6 with 2371 views | Cheltenham_Blue | I'll take lose in a 4-3 thriller, but better for the team would be a win followed by a glamour tie in the 4th round where we crash out 2-0. Any confidence gained in this game will pay dividends against Plymouth.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 09:02 - Jan 6 with 2350 views | Pippin1970 | I'm sorry I never get let's lose this game in case we miss out on promotion. Sod that let's win the FA CUP.
I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 09:20 - Jan 6 with 2241 views | PioneerBlue | Losing for losing sake, that’s not professional football. Losing but trying to win, these things happen. I’m not into big rotations for cup games with a bunch of players that have not played as one team but we don’t seem to be in that position at the moment. I expect it will be a competitive team with a few rested or rotated as finishers. Goalkeeper is an obvious place to start. Greg Leigh might be another to share minutes because if Leif is fit he won’t have played for two weeks by the time Plymouth comes around if he misses out this weekend. Likely Luongo will be involved but we might not get 90 minutes from him therefore sharing minutes with Morsey Evans Humphries. After that, what’s left currently? Edwards gets minutes, Jackson gets minutes, Ahadme gets minutes? KVY could get more time on the pitch. There are perhaps a couple of Academy prospects that could share pitch time. We’ve not got lots of options which is why this window is important for reestablishing quality depth for the rotation policy. [Post edited 6 Jan 2023 11:02]

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 09:28 - Jan 6 with 2207 views | Ftnfwest | I'd rather win the FA Cup than get promoted to the Championship (Premier League might be different) but of course beating Rotherham doesn't mean you've won the FA Cup. I'd certainly like to get through another round and see who we get and it gives fringe/younger players a chance to play a game or two. Added benefit for me of creating a couple more midweek games which are easier for me to get to as well.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 09:40 - Jan 6 with 2155 views | Mookamoo | Burn the witch. Every game a is a chance to start a good run. We've the squad to rotate players and it's a great opportunity to get a few youngsters on the bench. And reinforcements are coming in January. Especially given its a team we're trying to replace in the league next year.
I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 09:47 - Jan 6 with 2090 views | Churchman | I always want us to win, but not at the cost of injuries to key players. I just wouldn’t play them or any player with a niggle or looks tired tomorrow. A chance for the fringe players/yoofs. A sad state of affaires given what the FA Cup used to be, but that’s how it is now.

What if drawing allows us to win the replay and get to the quarters or semis? Are you seriously saying you'll be groaning if we score a last minute equaliser? If one extra game is such a hassle, why not just put out an U18s team and give our squad a rest. The FA Cup is worthy of more respect than this. It is the most prestigious competition we're playing in this year, not the least.
I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 09:50 - Jan 6 with 2075 views | Guthrum | How would you feel if we missed promotion but won the FA Cup (again)? On a serious note, potentially it's a few extra games to give pitch-time to recovering, fringe and youth players, some extra funds for the club, a bit of added profile for ITFC. Losing these games rarely seems to have actually done us any favours.

I'd definitely celebrate an equaliser, it would be reflexive as much as anything, but I would feel ambivalent about the result.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 10:24 - Jan 6 with 1962 views | jayessess | We've not bothered with cups for a decade now and it's never done our league form any good. Beating Rotherham would be a good marker and a confidence boost. Also the first time we've made Round 4 since 2010 and the first time we've beaten higher league opposition since 1996. So, I'd like to see us win.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 10:30 - Jan 6 with 1931 views | ipswichtillidie | I think if we end up filling the squad out in this window a few more rounds in the cup maybe useful tbh. Would want to win. Agreed that a draw probably not ideal at this stage.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 11:07 - Jan 6 with 1856 views | ringwoodblue | Cmon guys, be realistic, we are not going to win the FA Cup but to get beyond the third round would be a major achievement in comparison to recent history. I’d love to beat Rotherham and draw one of the top 6 in the PL or Nodge at home but getting promoted is the real prize this season

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 11:22 - Jan 6 with 1785 views | Superblue95 | Rotherham were very generous odds to win when I checked the other day too if you fancy trying to make some money off our inevitable loss.

I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 11:37 - Jan 6 with 1738 views | BigCommon | Think it's one of those games we can easily dismiss if we were to lose... However, after last season's home performance against this lot.Would be nice to turn them over.. We've gone surprisingly strong on selection in all of our cup matches this season. So I'm expecting us to field our strongest available matchday squad. It's a bit of a free hit, imo. So perhaps a few out there will play with a bit less pressure on their shoulders. Which could help kick start some individual form.
I'm not adverse to us losing Saturday on 11:38 - Jan 6 with 1737 views | GlasgowBlue | I want us to win every game. I'm also reminded of the season we went up as champions, after two great cup games against Liverpool.

the fa cup's purely about winning as is the pizza cup. the league is about getting more points than others, sometimes an away draw is fine!
