We have some real issues, yes. Biggest one for me actually is the midfield: unlucky with Ball, but we can hardly be surprised the already-injured Camara and gamble that was Luongo aren't working out as cover for Evans, who has historically picked up injuries. Now we look leggy and stretched there; the club needed to do better.
But to my point: don't give these guys two decades of "here we go again". Yes this is all very frustrating currently. But it's really not a team that lies down, gets turned over, goes missing, loses stupid games or even loses very often at all. And god knows we've had enough of those. It's a good team with flaws that currently can't find the solutions to regularly turn draws into wins. We will make the play-offs this season — yes, we will, our home run-in is soft and our home record remains very good, that alone will do it — and, as I said the other week, owe it to each other not to let any angst transmit into the stadiums. We have a really good chance, still, but unloading our baggage onto a group of lads who aren't too far from being very, very good is going to reduce that chance. Let's tone the viciousness down a bit. There's too much at stake. |  |

Fans just need a bit of belief. We aren't getting it. And that's why doubts will creep in.
Yes we have a nice home run.. but tonight even tho it was away was a banker wasn't it? Lost last 5. Morcambe smashed them... yet we really didn't look like winning after the first corner.

I like McKenna and will continue to back him, I still think he's the right man and we'll come good again. But even I have to admit that it was naive to think we could go through the rest of the season with four CMs when those four are Morsy (suspension prone), Evans (injury prone), Luongo (barely played any football for months) and Humphreys (still learning and developing physically). | | | |

Point about midfield is Evans presents an ongoing injury risk — this is not exactly rocket science — and we haven't arranged proper cover. The folly of signing Camara, who screamed red flag from the get go, needs no explaining. Luongo was a punt that has, currently, backfired — because presumably we signed him for moments exactly like this one. | |

The folly of signing Camara, who screamed red flag from the get go, needs no explaining. Luongo was a punt that has, currently, backfired — because presumably we signed him for moments exactly like this one. |

Evans and Luongo both have known injury issues, Morsy is a liability when it comes to discipline whilst Humphreys needs to build his strength to work in in a two man midfield. | |

Odd post. We are talking about short term potential fixes during an injury crisis with available midfielders. Not sure why you're so worked up. People saying humphreys to lightweight in the middle.. so if he us going to play during this period. Wouldn't it help to take him further up the pitch?
Regarding your game point. Erm I know people who go to the games on their own. Is that a problem? | |
