...already identified him on social media and are sending his pic round. My issue is that it's just going to inflame an already dodgy atmosphere and innocent people could well end up getting grief because of it. What a massive twanger.

It's a very easy one to hijack. Cretins seem to wave it around all the time.

Yeah maybe, but he's not rascist though, absolutely not. I know it's wrong, and I shouldn't think it, but, well we're all thinking the same aren't we?

Bell end with the flag. ‘You know what lads, I have a really good idea of showing how proud we are to being English’. Man hiding his face. ‘Like being really loud and creating a carnival of colour? Bell end with the flag ‘Nah, you daft sod. I’ve created this. Those Napoli fans will see what epic bantz we have. Someone take a photo’. Man hiding his face. ‘I’m just going to cover my face here. Hope you have travel insurance’. I’m trying to put myself in his mindset but it always comes down to want to play the idiot. It makes no sense to me to want to be deliberately offensive. I’m just wondering whether there are any posters on here who have deliberately went out of their way to look for trouble whilst watching England play? If so why? Was it out of a sense of national honour or was it just out of a desire to fight? Genuinely interested in why this happens.

He should be detained and forced to miss the game. His presence now puts innocent people and the police at risk. He seems complete scum so he has chosen any trouble that comes his way.

He’s the type of idiot, who when in Germany, thinks it’s hilarious to do a Nazi salute and sing about Bomber Harris. Absolute bell end who probably never accepts responsibility for his actions.

Not sure why he couldn't write it out himself. Presumably the local supermarket had run out of crayons.

He isn't racist he just thinks that he needed to mentione about white lives matter with his gang of Burnely mates Then when him and his girlfriend were discovered to have the P word all over their facebook pages (and get sacked from their jobs) they can't be racist because they have a load of Asian mates - but sometimes he gets 'drunk and coked up' and posts stuff he doesn't mean. EDL supporter, obviously, just the sort of scummy bloke you see Nazi saluting outside a hotel full of refugees. the thing i don't get is how is he allowed to travel, he has a banning order on him etc. When I used to travel with England you would get passports checked when you left, had to have check done by England Fans group and one of my mates had a D&D caution from a night out in Colchester that he had to explain away to the police and border control when we left every single time This bloke doesn't seem to have the brain to plot a different route into the country to get around this but maybe they've lessened checks now

I think a lot of these muppets tend to be supporters of smaller clubs who see big international games as an opportunity to test themselves at the highest level, so to speak.

Have a feeling the Italian police will be cuffing him and welcoming him with a baton to the knees as soon as he arrives on Italian soil. If he's all over social media here and the Napoli ultras you can be sure the police are going to be all over him.

Travelling to watch England I've seen countless people pulled at the border and denied travel, some for relatively minor offences, many completely non football related and dating back years. Yet absolute weapons like him are allowed to travel? Ridiculous. I imagine he'll be arrested pretty sharpish, which would do him a favour. That, or do the sensible thing and stay in the hotel room. Braindead idiot.

Yep, that's what I don't get - is this something that has just stopped now? We were stopped whether going by boat from Harwich, or flying out of any of the London airports and further checks done on anyone likely going to the football. My mate who had a D&D initially had his England Fans membership revoked and he had to write to them with the mitigating circumstances to have it reinstated but still knew that on any trip he'd be questioned as we left and the police could just pull him (and this was for a total non football offence). Looking at this guys Insta that has been posted online he is a member of the travel club

That might end up being the best outcome for him i spose. It makes you wonder how someone so stupid, made it this far really.

Might have slipped through if he flew into Rome or somewhere earlier in the week - also no ticket collection point for this one as logistics have been a nightmare so all tickets emailed so might have got one from elsewhere. I considered going but whole thing just seemed more effort than it was worth.

From the BBC Sport website:- "Security has been much talked about in the build-up with a friendly match between England and Italy fans called off over safety concerns. Last week, eight football fans were arrested after violence flared between Eintracht Frankfurt and Napoli supporters before and after their Champions League match. Southgate played down the issue, saying he was "excited" to travel to the city. "I have never been to Naples before and the history of football here is really rich," he said. "I am excited about playing in a city that loves football, with a great history. "I can just about remember [Diego] Maradona when they [Napoli] won the league. "Always we ask our fans to be good tourists and respect the local culture and we hope the game and the next couple of days passes with no problems." Am guessing the tw*t in question isn't likely to read that, or if he did it'd just fire him up to an even more tw*ttish level. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64972899
