Strange to admit but hadn't even thought about that. Portman Road is a good looking ground anyway, but doing away with that clutter and smartening that area up is going to make it shine even more. I hope we can look forward to similar with the Portman Road car park if and when the Cobbold gets redeveloped. |  |

Some of the footage on 'Town in 25', or other fan made YT films really made me appreciate the old place. OK, I know it was full to the rafters, but it looked fantastic. Retains it's history, while moving forward. I also think the current shade of blue shirts helps. Royal Blue, never change the shade, like Italy! | | | |

I wonder how the ‘trim’ of the pitch will look. I know some Prem grounds have quite smart coloured astro around the edge to match their team’s colour. You would think although it will still look like a football pitch the outcome will really lift the feel of the stadium given it is being done so professionally. |  | | |

I prefer republican blue.
On the Italian point, they are colloquially referred to as the 'Azzurri', with the colour their shirts being Azure rather than Blue. Apparently in Italy they consider Azure to be a separate colour rather than a shade of blue, in the same way that we think of pink as being a colour in it's own right rather than a light shade of red. |  |
