I stood on that bridge wanting to do it but bottled it, my friend did it with 3 broken ribs and said it was great if you've got the balls to do it then do It! The white water rafting is great as is the helicopter ride over it

Did he acquire the 3 broken ribs before, during or on landing?
Having done a parachute drop (not tandem) and one or two interesting things, the one thing I’ve never summoned the nerve to do is bungee jumping. Too old now, of course. If it’d been on offer when I was young and with buddies, would peer pressure had driven me to do it? Who knows.
Anyway, good luck with it! I suspect the adrenaline rush will be well and truly up there!
Do it!! Far more chance of getting hit by a bus than dying on a bungee jump. You’ll end up regretting it when you’re too old to do it if you don’t do it now!
I’ve done one and loved it. Make sure they’re a reputable firm, that’s my only advice. I found the initial fall fine, it’s the rebound, brief period of weightlessness and then fall again that nobody warns you about.
done it, not there, just do it as some famous brand of sports clothing states
Yes in 2002 the getting into the raft at the bottom in rough water was the hardest also the rafting is the best ever. raft guide was called John Barnes.
But when I did a bungee it was from a crane platform thing and I hated it. My son and I went up together and he went first, once prepared he just dived off. When I was ready I clung to the guard rail with white knuckles before being persuaded how ignominious my descent would be if I didn't jump. Never again!

Statistically the most dangerous place to be is in a hospital bed, it’s where most people die

It may be an odd question and no side to it.. but when is too old ?

Same here.
Paid up, strapped up, hopped onto the edge, looked down, hopped off back onto the bridge.
Bloke: What you doing? Me. Not jumping off there. Bloke: We don't offer a refund. Me. Don't give a fck, keep it pal.
