I feel like a bit of criticism here is more than fair - today has been reminiscent of the errors Hladky was making when he first came to the club. He was excellent in our first three games this season, but I don’t think he has the quality required to play against forwards like Leeds have. Feel free to disagree, but deleting your account might be a bit of an overreaction. | |

Probably fair to say none of our defence covered themselves in glory in that ten minute spell.
Great to see Hladky has started the second half brightly - good save a moment ago and a lovely clip out to the right when they had him under pressure a couple of minutes ago.
Fair play - I probably overreacted with the criticism in the emotion of that spell where it looked like Leeds were just gunna run away with it and score with every attack. Still, looking forward to getting Walton back as I think he’s a far superior keeper, and despite giving Hladky a little stick today I’ll always want to see him succeed as long as he’s wearing our shirt. | |

Agreed. Some really poor defending all round for at least 3 of the goals and some suspect goalkeeping for the Piroe goal.
Leeds though looked a bit crap I thought. They have 4 insanely expensive forwards, two of whom don’t want to be there and probably won’t be by the end of the transfer window, and them aside I didn’t think they were all that. Better defending and we’d have won that no problem. | | | |

He had a great game at QPR, of course I wasn’t criticising him then.
It’s not like I’ve got it in for him - I’ve criticised him today because he made a couple of bad errors that were punished, it’s not like I go round giving him stick every week.

You’re absolutely right there - keepers get punished in a way that no other position does.
Thought he had a real torrid first half today, but it says a lot about him that he was able to come out second half and perform as well as he did without letting his mistakes effect him. Happy to hold my hands up and say I was OTT with the OP - as I’ve said above, heat of the moment frustration after a horror show 10 minute spell. | |
