I’m not sure about being anxious; the top top prem teams will always go for big names and I don’t think KMac will leave this empire he’s building for mid to lower prem team.
Although if Man Utd get new owners and look for a rebuild and came knocking on our door, I don’t think he’d turn them down. | |

I’m not sure about being anxious; the top top prem teams will always go for big names and I don’t think KMac will leave this empire he’s building for mid to lower prem team.

I don't get why people feel that McKenna would automatically jump at Man Utd. He was derided by their fanbase when he worked there, and will be well aware that as a club they eat managers and spit them out.
From what I have learned about him I would say that if Arteta was to be offered the Spain job, for example, McKenna would be a great fit for Arsenal, as they play progressive passing football and look to develop players more than some other similar sized clubs. And in Arteta they have shown that a relatively young coach, with a sparse CV, could become their manager.
But the one that worries me most is Crystal Palace. A well-established Prem club, with some exciting young attacking players, and with a well respected manager who has been treated well by the owner, but who must be due for an imminent graceful retreat into retirement.
They are the two that concern me.

Agree. Palace are a rather stale entity in the Prem. A bit like Pulis' Stoke a decade ago. If not for the sheer dross in and around the bottom, they'd likely to be nervously looking over their shoulders. | |

With Wagner there seems to be a sense that they are waiting for Webbers replacement as they don't think he should be the man to appoint someone when he's not going to be here.
His replacement seems to be Arsenal's loans manager.
