Having a look back through my own posts, I don't think i've come across as that about this KM stuff, but I am curious to understand something.

Many are pointing to KM's success at town and saying how much the clubs owe him, etc etc, how much he's achieved, what an amazing manager, he's made the players better, it's going to take a lot to continue what he's done..

So if the above is all true, which it is in many aspects..... why is it seen as bed wetting from those who aren't happy with what's happening.

If all of the above were true, isn't it better that people are genuinely gutted that we could be losing him, rather than the times when we were shocked when a manager was given a 5 year deal when we all wanted him gone.

I've seen posts saying other forum users would laugh at this site.. why? their aren't any supporters out there who've just seen their club promoted back to back, wanting to see how the side does in the prem with the same manager, if anyone laughed at the reactions of some, i'd be asking how would you be acting in the same situation.

Absolutely there's various ways you can react to what's going on, but I don't see what the problem is with feeling absolutely pssed off with it all. likewise, I don't see the issue if you want to chill and see what happens. I'm just suprised the term bed wetters is being used for people who aren't happy about potentially losing KM.

Absolutely, it may not happen, and if it doesn't then all you have is every single person on the forum feeling the same joy, so that would be brilliant.

I'm at the point where for the clubs best interest, I just want it resolved. A poster yesturday said our main priority should only be about KM, but it just can't be, there's far to much to prepare for our prem season, any potential contacts with new players could be highly damaged by what is happening, not only that, but what if we're trying to extend player contracts - Hladky, Morsy? Davis? etc, how can Ashton sit them down and get them signed if they see their managers agent looking to force a move.

I get both sides of the feelings fence, but I don't begrudge anyones thoughts on what's happening.

for me, I just want it sorted one way or the other, it just has to be and soon.

I think suggestions of gardening leave and 'get it done quickly' when nothing has actually happened other than clubs making enquiries and a couple of journos getting excited is a bit premature.

People are just adding fuel to the perceived fire.

'Manager of the Year courted by other clubs' is hardly a surprising situation is it?
The reaction to it is ludicrous.

I think this is where certain things get lost within the forum

I don't see anyone shocked at him being linked. That's a given

But over the days, we've learned he almost left in the winter, Davis did indeed say he hopes he stays, KM's agent appears to be the driving force behind it all - which KM could put a stop to IF he wanted to.

I agree, gardening leave is a bit odd, they are basically on leave now anyway lol, but I think people are mixing up people getting annoyed based on just links, to people getting annoyed at what they learning about the situation.

The bedwetters are the ones losing their sh!t and having a go at McKenna, some even calling for him to just leave, when then only facts so far are some tabloids printing some stories.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Are many actually calling for him to leave, Flash? An end to the speculation, maybe. Bedwetters? There are a few of those, but on a forum where a few goes into meltdown if we lose a game or call for McKenna’s replacement with more experience after a bad result in Feb 2023, I guess that’s only to be expected.

You are of course correct about the stories. Believing what the Sun and the Daily Fail, social media etc have to say about anything is ludicrous. If they say it’s raining, it’s time to apply the suntan lotion. There are no facts. Just rumours and speculation.

I've not really believed anything the media themselves have printed, im more inclined to read what our local journo's thoughts are from the people they know, hence why i put earlier what's been learned rather than what's been read.

You hit the nail on the first line though, no one want's KM gone, they just want this situation resolved.

This is true, and when the dust settles and he stays put people are going to feel very sheepish. Kierons agent has done a number here, and the club will be hating the noise and distraction. I'm confident it's all a backdrop to premier league terms and bonus negotiation.

That being said, round 2 will begin after Southgate leaves post Euros as you can bet your bottom dollar he will feature o the odds charts for that role also.

The manner in which many have lost their head over this is embarrassing.
Very little critical thinking, vast overreaction and people consistently putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. It hasn’t been helped by the poor article on the BBC, which I’m led to believe was written by a Norwich supporter.

Some of the ludicrous stuff I’ve seen alleged “supporters” write insinuating he’s already gone, etc- it beggars belief.

Don't entirely agree, some people have said some really negative stuff based on press rumours.

No smoke without fire, based on achievements these clubs would be out of there minds not to consider KM. This is football at the end of the day. If he does go, it's far better for us as a club he does so over the next 3 weeks than it is in 3 or 4 months time.

The only thing that's certain is we are closer to the end of his tenure here than the beginning, and in a twisted way we have to be thankful for it because he has brought unimaginable success and joy.

He's the hottest young managerial property in England and possibly across Europe, it's like Ipswich having a 17 year old Haaland and expecting to keep hold of him just because he did a good football...this is and for as long as he's here will be his project and I'm clinging on to the fact that that is a far bigger draw to him right now

Peak internet this, and rather Kafkaesque.

No they'll do what they usually do and quietly pretend they never were in the "he's def info leaving camp" it was those others doing it not them.

And no doubt start another hundred threads about Ashton leaving instead, because he hasn't committed himself to the club for the last 10minutes.
