MIA dived deep down the Conspiracy wormhole a few years back. It's not a spoof or satire.
If I were creating a publicity stunt for an ad campaign - which is something I've done for years - that's very much how I'd word it.
Maybe she's come out the other side and realised it's all nonsense. The article itself states she's not really an anti-vaxxer. Going by the lines I quoted above I'd be astonished if it isn't a joke/publicity stunt... and I certainly don't think you can be as certain as you are that it's not. You wouldn't literally call it a "tin foil hat" when that's well known to be a derogatory term used at these people, surely?
