yup. Its interesting many say no yet love hutchinson.

Sarmiento with a full season under KM would flourish. Look at his summer games and now his time for Brighton after half a season of KM coaching. He's confident scoring goals etc etc.

Absolutely. The trajectory he was on was only upwards the more time he spent here.

In an ideal world I would have bought him and loaned him to a Championship club, but that never seemed likely.

Wouldn't want to see him play too many games in the PL as he's too unpredictable, but I think he'll be class in a few years.

With the players we have that don’t count towards the squad due to age I would say so. I realise we can’t afford to have people just keeping the bench warm as such but those occasions Magic came on last season , I admit not every game but a good number he offered something different. He offered a decent attitude alongside a little grit and the odd magic goal of course

Not a world beater but a likelable guy with a good skill set , knows our system and gives his all

There’s far worse out there

Jury's out for me, he would command a sizeable fee, and we can't gloss over the fact that when he started he didn't affect the game anywhere near the level he did when he came on at the later stages.

Not sure we can attribute a large chunk of the budget on a supersub.

It took Hutch a while to settle.

Imagine the progress if we had signed Sarmiento in July rather than January!!

No… wait.. watch what we do. McKenna knows.
Also don’t really understand the clamour. He couldn’t hold down a starting place here. Was a great impact off the bench and maybe we still might look at him but it appears McKenna feels we can get a better upgrade otherwise he’d already be in the building wouldn’t he.

If I'm being honest then no. I wouldn't say he's going to improve us in the Premier League. Broadhead is our player in the same position and he's better for me, and I also think we need to bring in someone to start in that left sided 10 role over Broadhead and utilise him off the bench.

You're right. His overall play did seem to get better and better which of course it will the more he is used to the team/system etc.

Whilst I don't disagree broadhead has zero pre season out for probably more than two months,
Massive catch up, can't see him doing much this season,
Seen many a player stepping up a league having to play catch up and season is ruined,

Would love to have him back. Not sure why the loan is out of the window, other than change of manager and his form. Would offer them a new transfer record to get him. Think he is going to be a real star.
