Selling Matt Grimes apparently and just had a big sell-on payoff from Whittaker’s move.

I hope not. Broady’s seems one of the few who can put his foot on the ball and give us a foothold in games.

I’d be gutted if this is true. Hate to think that we’d keep certain players/bring them in and lose Broady. Hopefully just speculation.

I saw £3.5m +add ons was the fee for Grimes.

Lure of the valleys aside, he’s so much better than a dire lower half championship nothing club such as Swansea.

If we stay up I could see him going to Wrexham next year if they get promoted. They are ambitious and would be able to afford him. He's from North Wales so it would all seem a like a good fit. If we are relegated I think we keep him.

This would seem beyond bizarre. Could quite easily be part of the reason we stay up....if we go on to achieve that. His expected minutes are probably higher now per game than at any other point in the season.

If we end up relegated he'd be the perfect player to help us bounce straight back up. Can only imagine they've offered a significant sum of money.

Wouldn't fret, I think KM's more intelligent than the OP/OP's 'informant'.

Might be unpopular, but I’d rather lose Chaplin before Broadhead base on performances this season.

Doubt they can afford the £10 mill he'd cost. With Whittaker having just gone for 6-8m.

I’ve seen that figure mentioned in the local press over here. They’re linked with spending most of that on a CM replacement from the Danish leagues (Melker Widell, who a Swedish box-to-box CM who looks pretty useful).

So I’ve no idea where they’d get the money to buy Broady from. They’re supposed to be up against P&S limits and seem skint. Maybe a loan (would make sense if Broady isn’t in KM’s plans for the rest of the season, as I’d want the option of using him next season if we go down).

Or it could be rubbish and the OP is winding us up, as still no links.

PS, if he does go, god knows what he’s going into.

They’re on a shocking run, the Gaffer’s cracking under pressure, Grimes wants out, Harry Darling doesn’t want to sign a new contract and will be out in the summer unless Sheff Utd buy him this week. They play football with all the attacking pizazz of a Lambert team.

Their recruitment has been shocking; they let good players go for barely anything* and buy overpriced rubbish. And now the fans are turning https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce8y6ek2386o.amp.

They remind me of us under Evans. Chronic mismanagement and a death by a thousand cuts.

*Whittaker wasn’t given a chance (but looked crap there) and they just sold a lad to Orient for peanuts who they gave little chances to, who has bossed the last two games and got a hattrick and an assist last night for his new team

You're right about how familiar some of that sounds. Always liked Swansea as a team after their PL stint.
