No we don't. What total rubbish. Szmodics has been close for a few weeks and we've literally been really careful with him and McKenna has talked about this and not rushing it. It's just unfortunate.
We've been excellent with the sports science and getting people back playing in good health over the last few years. It's a fact the most dangerous time for any player returning is after an injury. You can't replicate the stresses in advance. Doesn't matter how long you leave it, you have to build up muscle and muscles you only really truly get back when playing regularly again.

100% can’t blame anyone for starting him, I’m sure it’s been carefully managed by all involved. My only issue is leaving him on after the first knock, but I suppose in that situation you can only go off what the player is saying and whether he feels he can continue. Fingers crossed it’s just a minor setback because we really need him in the squad. | | | |
