Ok, dispense with the universally used term, plans A,B,C and use the phrase,
"change their approach, adapt, modify when your current tactics isn't working or the same issues keep arising".
Unfortunately Mckenna doesn't do this. Eg when our midfield of 2 is constantly being over run, or when one up front isn't working, why not CHANGE something, instead of constantly repeating the same approach.
If people on here feel I can't get taken seriously for raising this point, then they too, like McKenna, have their heads stuck in the sand. It's not a criminal act to question, and that's all I've ever done.
Even allowing for the massive step up, which even McKenna himself has struggled with, doesnt mean he couldn't have tried to change his approach. Indeed, given the abysmal results this season its even more incredible that he has tried something different. He hasn't even been able to mastermind a win over two poor relegation teams.. I presume thats acceptable to the masterminds on here then? Would McKenna still have a job at any other club given his record this season, I seriously doubt it. | |
