Do you really think whether he is applauded, booed, or ignored is going to make any difference to Morsy's determination to play his best?
Personally, I would rather he was applauded before the match and after it but I don't have any issue with those who choose to applaud him if he comes on and when he warms up.
There are some players who booing would motivate more than applauding too. I used to hate the grief we gave Nugent because I knew what was coming. |  |
