One of my favourite ever Ipswich players, and an excellent broadcaster.

For a couple of seasons or more he was electric, and unstoppable one-on-one with the keeper.

There was a photo of him a couple of weeks ago which showed he had lost a lot of weight and he looked far better than he had for a long time.

This was presumably before his operation but hopefully it will increase his chances of making a full recovery.

Missed this yesterday. Hope he recovers soon. Fantastic player and his link-up play with Mariner and Muhren in particular was almost telepathic at times. Also a clinical finisher as others have said.

Yes, equal best 1 on 1 with the keeper. Only Marcus Stewart as good.
