There is no argument about this historical point. SB

Enjoy eating something that has shrivelled up and lost all of the characteristics that made it nice to eat.

Where do you think the Sun gets its heat from? The devil is powering that bad boy from the fires of hell.

Didn't see that one coming on 10:46 - Oct 26 by Herbivore | Yeah, Asian cuisine - from India to Japan - is also piss easy. Middle Eastern is too. Basically, non-European tends to be easier as their cuisines are less heavily reliant on meat and dairy. Saying that, Italian is quite easy to make vegan too. |
I was surprised to read that you'd list Italian, as I instantly think of fish and meat mains with creamy sauces, meat ragus and fresh egg pasta. And cheese. But then I gave it some thought: Risotto's. Polenta. Bruschetta. Gnocchi. Most dried pastas don't contain egg. So a nice wild mushroom soup with foccaccia to start, followed by a butternut squash risotto (I'll be honest, I'd miss the Parmesan). Dessert? Now I'm struggling. Italian desserts tend to be all about the cream. Maybe a lemon tart? That sounds nice. Allowing in milk, cream and cheese for a vegetarian rather than vegan diet would make many more genuine Italian dishes possible.

You're talking to a bloke who likes what I can only presume is basically suet trifle. I'd trust him nearly as much as J2's eggs and Callis' Tofu alternatives to food. Tiramisu is of course why anyone rates Italian food. I also recently discovered I make a very good Ragu Napoltena. Which is one of the best Italian dishes going with some decent pasta.

Raisins' less attractive slightly geeky sister. You would, but you'd prefer raisins.

Agreed, except for the cheese they add to most things. Eastern foods are very easy, as meat was often a treat (still is in some areas).
