What kind of crowd on Friday? 10:29 - Nov 20 with 8801 views | SomethingBlue | I'm expecting old-school, noisy Ipswich under lights, am I wrong? Feels like a really big one for our season, can't expect a win but I do expect a real battle and if we can come out on the right side I think it'll give us the momentum to pull away soon enough. Hopefully 20,000+ people are of similar mind. Really looking forward to it.

What kind of crowd on Friday? on 12:55 - Nov 21 by Kieran_Knows | Where has this 4000 tickets been given away, come from? Have I missed something? I know Karl Fuller had raised enough for 420 tickets, which the club subsequently matched and Karl added other people have further since brought tickets and added to the total, so I can imagine that is in the region of 1000 extra tickets. I only ask as I saw someone mention 4000 yesterday as well. Either way, good effort by all and hopefully we'll be looking at 20k+ on Friday night. |
1000 tickets given away is a great effort

Good! We have seen the club can sell out even this season, so it's great to hear!

Very much so. Fantastic effort by all. Was just wondering where people had seen the 4000 tickets and if I had missed something else.

The club should be doing this for every home game in my view. Yes, it might upset a few ST holders, but it's about the long term plan for this club and not solely the immediate future. Get some of the young and local generation interested in Ipswich Town which is on their doorstep....it's the way forward! [Post edited 21 Nov 2018 16:11]

What kind of crowd on Friday? on 13:22 - Nov 21 by blueM3 | He raised enough for 2400. The club will match that. So 4800 given out if my maths still serves me. |
I've not really followed the story closely, I read somewhere it was 4,000 tickets but perhaps that was wrong, perhaps it was £4k worth of tickets? Not sure, either way I would be surprised if the attendance didn't start in a 2.

Don't think i've ever been on Friday night in my life...dragging the wife and children along for once, grabbed a nearby hotel and off to London Town in the morning, O2 Nitro Circus and swimming at the Olympic pool Sunday. Hope ITFC can start the weekend with a bang! QQ...assuming it's busy and i'm not coming by train, where am I best to park as i'll be a bit tight on time to get there. Cheers

20,000 minimum, will be over that. Think we'll get quite a few walk ups yet, 21,650. [Post edited 21 Nov 2018 18:33]

Looks pretty big, only single seats available in my block, when normally there are only 2-3 more people in my row and barely anyone behind me.

We booked last week and managed to get seats right down near the front. Maybe not the best view to follow the game but perfect to get my lad close up to the players. (Fighting a valiant rear guard action against him picking Spurs over Ipswich.)

First home game since the Norwich game due to work and stuff. My mate's daughter is the West Brom mascot on Friday and he has been impressed with how approachable and helpful the club have been.
