Regardless of individual political views, the Brexit party are there to put pressure on the UK delivering Brexit. Quite obvious really.

Not really.

The Brexit party are there to put pressure on the UK to deliver Farage’s version of Brexit.

He has always had the option to stand and get elected to parliament, and to try and be part of the decision making process.

When he has had actual policies, not enough people liked them.

Any one can be against something. Easiest thing in the world to do.

Racism, Islamophobia, Homophobia and Antisemitism aren't political views.

By voting for someone who's never been an MP and for a position which has no effect on how the UK leaves the EU?
[Post edited 23 May 2019 10:53]

The EU is a busted flush.

It matters not that Farage has not been an MP, he's been an MEP so knows how to give them a bloody nose.

I am anti-EU in it's current form. It won't change because it doesn't want too.

It just wants to dissolve European countries into some blue goo and control the whole continent.

Reminds me of Mr Creosote.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

You seem to have had some kind of breakdown over the last month. You've gone from a reasonable bloke I actually wanted to meet to a something else entirely.

At least with proportional representation, on a constituency basis, the established parties will still be represented.

I think you are wrong, the Tories will be wiped out.

So your response to the fact that these candidates reek of racism and bigotry is to say people are talking about it too much?

I came to the conclusion a while back that brexit was not going to happen although it was my desire to leave the EU in its present guise. No party standing left, right or centre represents my views, so I voted for the only standing independent candidate, Attila Csordas who is a Hungarian longevity biologist who is advancing health & longevity for ALL. The other parties & candidates can feckin do one, quite frankly.

Find that such a tw@tish stance. There are a lot of people voting for genuine reasons not race related and should not have to worry about being linked with racists or bigots. Typical default stance to anyone opposing Brexit.

Sadly can't be helped. That's who, and what, the people running that particular show are. If you choose to endorse them, understand if others might make certain conclusions.

Personally I couldn't vote for a racist remain candidate.

I have no idea how anyone could. Unless they quietly endorse those views that is. At the very least by voting for them they're allowing the candidate to believe their bigotry is a vote winner.

Well, no-one ever gives a straight answer to this one. You'd think people as shamelessly non-PC-I-just-tell-it-as-I-see-it as your average Blue Passport and No Foreigners voter could answer a simple question as to whether they're happy endorsing Nigel Farage patriotically addressing a rally of foreign nazis, Widdecombe's homophobia, Fox's straight-out denial of genocies, Galloway's misogyny and anti-semitism and the the swathes of hardcore 'privatise everything' loons that populate the 'party'.

It's making me start to think that all those claims to be 'not racist, etc' might be a little hollow.
[Post edited 23 May 2019 11:07]

And yet again, no-one gives a straight answer. Plenty of whatbouttery, flannelling and downvoting. No attempt to justify WHY they're comfortable putting their cross next to the likes of Farage(abolish the NHS, once patriotically addressed a German neo-nazi rally), Widdecombe(comes out in hives if you so much as mention The Gays) and Fox(wants child porn to be legal, supports terrorists, flat out claimed that the Bosnian genocide was made up).

Maybe my grammar wasn’t great.

That is exactly what I meant.

He has had the option to stand for parliament with actual polices for the UK.

But never actually been elected when he has had policies for the UK.

He only gets elected for being against something, and then picking up tax payer money to do nothing. Whilst complaining about people being on a gravy train.

Quite an impressive selection of racist parties on my paper today -
Labour, Conservative and Unionist, English Democrats, UKIP, Blue Passports and No Foreigners.

That left Lib Dem, Green and this bloke:
