Yes agreed, but the ones in the North and Midlands are in Labour strongholds which would never go blue in a non-Brexit world.
Corbyn will get all the blame for this, and presumably will resign, but he was snookered basically. I don't see a successful Brexit position he could take.
And if/when he does go it will be civil war in the Labour party. |
A revised deal without a referendum may have kept Labour supporters onside. He tried to walk down the middle of the road and seemingly got run over. |  |
