Assertion not assumption, but proven by your next line "If I were a red then I'f swerve her".

You are not a "red", as such you are unlikely to be sympathetic to her and any point of view she puts across. If you were a red, you would likely be more sympathetic... and you can't say you wouldn't because you are not and your judgement is clouded by your current stand point.

Not at all.
My judgement is based on her performances in interview.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Your assumptions are incorrect.

If I were a red then I'd swerve her. I just think she is just to ranty and lacks depth of argument.
Nothing she ever said pre-election on the telly was anything other than simple and base objections. As I said, ranting at the sky.

"just to [sic] ranty and lacks depth of argument."

Heh.

Labour need a strong leader of the opposition. Someone who appeals to everyone. Someone the complete opposite to Corbyn. Not a massive fan of Phillips, but she may well appeal and attract a wide range of voters. That said there are better options. This is a crucial appointment for Labour after two very poor leaders.

Just can't see her as a competent leader. I think Lisa Nandy would be better, although warming a bit to Keir Starmer. Labour must not elect a Corbynite (Burgon or Wrong-Daily) nor a throwback to New Labour (Cooper).

Yeah right. You voted for a man who stole a journalist's phone rather than look at a photo of a sick child and who then hid in a fridge to avoid answering any questions from a Good Morning Britain presenter. Your views are not remotely based on people's actual performance, there based on you being a dyed in the wool Tory.

I wonder if Hillary Benn will stand, I hope so but I fear he won’t bother as Momentum will get in his way. Other possible candidates I suppose may include Lammy but then again maybe not, his massive ego will only let him stand if he thinks he has a chance.

What about Kinnock? I’d like to think it could be Kinnock or Benn, I quite like those two - but I fear a Corbyn clone.

For sheer intelligence, grown-upness and — as you say — gravitas I totally agree on Cooper. Has few airs & graces, does her homework better than almost anyone on either side and takes no bullsh6t. Can't see it happening though.

Yvette Cooper chaired one of the Brexit Select Committees and she was always excellent and in command of the subject and attendees. She’d give Boris a torrid time and is by far the most capable candidate. But the Momentum/Labour Party will never select her. She’s way too far to the right. I’d love to see Burgon get the nod just for comedy value.

Not got enough experience, Boris proved the experience he gained as London mayor is important. Yvette Cooper is the only option, with her many years of experience. Certainly not Sir Keir he went missing in the GE, if he wasn't strong enough to stand up to momentum during the GE then he'll never stand up to them.

Not sure if it's a case of Labour needing to win back the working class vote, it's not as if Corbyn wasn't a man of the people.

Labour need someone who the general public could perceive as leading the country and in that respect Starmer surely is the standout candidate.

Jess Philips would be a great number 2 though...

It seemed that she was in front of every camera in the HoP a few months back. Couldn't change channels without her noggin front and centre.

Really? Which parts of his experience has he drawn on in his leadership and recent election campaigns? I can’t say I noticed him talking about a positive track record.

She's not my preferred option but it's quite hilarious the way you're picking on her whilst you voted for a shameless liar and bigot, whose performance in interviews makes Jess Phillips look like a superstar. We all know your politics. It's hilarious how many Tories are on here telling us what a bad leader every candidate would be when they would never have any intention of voting Labour regardless of who their leader is.

Deputy leader under Starmer would be the dream team.

I'm not really sold on either of them as leader at the moment, although they both seem honourable people which is perhaps the most important quality right now. Don't see any other real candidates myself, although I haven't been following closely.
Is it possible that they could operate as co-leaders for say three years, and then have one or the other emerge, more experienced, as leader a couple of years before a GE? Obviously there could well be a GE before then, and that strategy might backfire.

He's not really worth entertaining. The election is over and still his only shtick is to criticise anything to do with Labour, however baseless. Perhaps it helps him sleep at might having voted for such a hideous Tory party.
