I guess hope ruled my head, but tonight's performance and result, has made me wobble. More than wobble. Maybe I just wanted Lambert to be the right man after so many false dawns. But now I'm wondering if this was another one.
That was carp. We are carp. Yes we are underfunded and I stand by that. But Lambert should be getting more out of this team against the likes of Wimbledon.
This, now, isn't good enough. I accept that. I was wrong.
Problem is, what do we do? Sack the manager? Lose the owner? Will any of these things actually turn us around? Football has died and us, or what used to be us, with it.

Literally just IpswichCrazy.
There is another on this board that gets very angry at any posts that question Shambert, he denies it but he posts on every one and then gets very weird if people comment on his pro Lambert posts
Shambert out. Get Warnock in until the end of the season with a big fat promotion bonus. We need someone to sort these players out pronto and sh!thouse our way into the top two and he's a seasoned pro when it comes to play-offs if we end up there. I'd never thought I'd be calling for Colin but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Warnock should have come in in December. We'd be top by now.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Fair one, apology accepted. I wonder if there’s anyone left backing Lambert now...?
Not backing him per se, but how many managers have we had that have failed under Evans's stewardship?
Lambert is another one on the conveyer belt that has to work with a disenfranchised and clueless owner, I can't keep wanting managers out before my ire turns to the owner, but we are in no man's land as he can't get rid of us and we can't him.
It's such a sorry depressing mess, and I started following town in 85 and went through the Duncan years, this is far worse.
To be honest Dolly I admired your optimism. Something I haven’t had since Mick left.
It is easy to let your heart rule your head but there has to be a breaking point. Mine came when Hurst was brought in and starting getting rid of our best players and bringing in rubbish.
I hoped Lambert would save us but could see by early last year it wouldn’t happen.
Welcome to the dark side.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
I never wanted him here in the first place. I will still back him and the lads as long as they are here though. Do not see what all the negativity achieves.

I'm another late turner I'm afraid. The re-connection stuff was/is good, so I still have time for Lambert, BUT he's clearly not getting as much out of this squad as he ought to be, and promotion is an imperative this season.

^This. We did need that reconnection and 'improved perfomrances' last year (and a few in patches this year) (yes Badger, I'm looking at you ), but on their own it's not enough without progress on the pitch.
Lambert's been good in some respects, credit where credit is due. But he's got us performing horribly now.
