When this lockdown is finally over on 09:26 - Apr 4 with 2236 views | strikalite | Do you think they'll do it in stages? The first one might just be that you're allowed out in your car to the coast etc but still keep the 2m rule when out walking, it won't be right GO everyone get out there everything is back to normal... So with that theory it'll be a trip up to sunny hunny, but at that point that place will be rammed no doubt, so how will that work? Hmmm....a KFC then,I need some junk now..
When this lockdown is finally over on 09:27 - Apr 4 with 2236 views | BrixtonBlue | I imagine there'll be loads of crazy street parties, so probably that.

When this lockdown is finally over on 09:29 - Apr 4 with 2234 views | britbiker | Like you. Need to take the Triumph down to the coast. Finally open up the beach hut before the seasons past and watch the waves whilst drinking tea. Plus if things carry one much longer. Marvel at my garden which has finally had some of the major jobs done that I would never had time to do normally then smile at the garage with its newly arranged piles of graded woods and boards and tins all in correct positions.

Wouldn’t be surprised if restrictions were removed on a gradual basis by age group, youngest first. Two reason, the older you are the more at risk you are. Secondly the younger you are the more likely you will ignore restrictions, Couple of days ago, while on my daily walk, Police car stopped two twenty somethings walking along Ward Road and sent them back from whence they had come.

When this lockdown is finally over on 09:43 - Apr 4 with 2206 views | DebsyAngel | Going to see my parents. I am speaking to them every day on the phone but it's not the same. I am missing them terribly. As for other stuff, I am going to take a good while if ever to feel ok about going to pubs or days out or football, as I will still be worried people have the virus.

Plus our T4 camper conversion is about 90% complete. Hoping to actually make use of it after over a year of ownership!

This 2 metre distancing will last into next year l reckon. You wont just be allowed to herd again for quite a while l would imagine. Otherwise we will have another spike in the virus. Then this lockdown would have to happen all over again. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

In defence of early retirement, I doubt it normally involves a stretch of solitary. I'm planning to learn to sea kayak. I ummed and ahhed last year. and regret not doing it now.

When this lockdown is finally over on 10:49 - Apr 4 with 2126 views | BlueBadger | Consider taking a nice quiet job as a practise nurse somewhere. Telling people to take their inhalers and keep an eye on their blood sugar after a few months spent informing and facilitating dozens, if not hundreds of gut-wrenching decisions seems like a nice option right now. 'Boring' is rapidly becoming very underrated.

you would be bored in 5 minutes. Kinetic is a lifestyle and something you will miss. I do, every day.

Ha no, in an ideal world when they set us all free and the weather is good it's the closest coastal town to me but it'll be rammed so forget it I think, everyone will have the same idea... loving the roads at the moment, just been shopping and the shelves are full again and the car park half empty, what's not to like eh...

Don't put off the sea kayaking, by the time people get to 70 most are starting to find it risky because of the muscle involved in things like self rescue, and just the amount of lugging a big lump of fibreglass around. I'm looking forward to getting back on the water when the quarantine ends.
