Telegraph report to follow.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

what is the telegraph saying?

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

The police? Just a left wing campaigning organisation that are still sore about Brexit.

Is that their actual phrasing? Rather colloquial of them!

I bet Bloots will downarrow this.

What odd wording. It's either a breach or it isn't. It's like being slightly pregnant.

Consistent with previous high-profile offenders Nigel Farage(travelled 100 or so miles to do some racism) and Stephen Kinnock(150 miles to deliver 'essential supplies' to his parents in London) who both had tickings-off(albeit via social media in Kinnock's case) in all fairness.

Farage of course, complained about what a terrible waste of time it all was.

A couple of lawyers have explained the wording on twitter. "Might" basically means that they believe he did, hence if they'd pulled him over they'd have advised him to return home. If he'd refused then they'd have issued a fixed penalty notice but if chose to refuse to pay the matter would end up before the court and they would have to determine. That's why they have used "might" as, in principle, a court could disagree with their interpretation.

You mean MPs who were in London while the lockdown was announced and returned home for the Easter recess ?

I'm sure there will be many from each party there.

Returning to their primary residence. Not the same as leaving your primary residence to stay with the folks.
