Doesn’t look like it - plus it looks like the FA cup match counts too.

Not if the FA deem it a reasonable appeal. Games are only added if they think it was a frivolous appeal.

What about the Trophy match? If that counts too then Dozzell will only miss Shrewsbury in the league and will be back for Hull. No surprise that it's been rejected but then the FA always get themselves deep in referee's back passages and it takes a lot to extract them from there.

No - but at least he can play in that, keep up his game time.

Damn, means he'll miss Hull. I'd definitely rest Bishop against Portsmouth and Crawley now though, knowing our luck, he'll probably just pick up an injury in training instead.

Oh I thought they automatically added one if you lose, like how TFL double your penalty if you lose an appeal!

No, only if it's frivolous. Jon Stead got an extra game for scoring two goals in the match after the appeal though.

I know this is somewhat radical but how about the coaches tell creative players not to throw themselves into tackles? I remember Meurens response when he was asked why he didn't tackle. He said not his game, it was left to Wark to win the ball. We seem to want just to create robots who are expected to run their guts out with no thought of creative skill. Witness Ozel can't get a game for Arsenal, mad mad world. Yes have a midfield enforcer, somebody to win the ball but don't sacrifice your skilful creative players. 11 robots judged by distance they covered rather than what they did. Any wonder football getting mundane?
Dozzell appeal rejected (n/t) on 17:26 - Nov 5 with 1260 views | clive_baker | I'm not surprised because overturning anything is an admission of wrong doing and who knows where that'll end up. Unless its blindingly obvious / mistaken identity etc the easy thing for them to do is reject it. Games gone

Would never be overturned unless the ref admits that he might have got it wrong. As he was very close to the tackle there was no chance of him admitting it, and they will always back their man.

I'm sorry to be a something of a pedant, but you really mustn't spell Arnold Mühren's name wrongly like that.
