On points per game we’re already outside the top 6. I’m sticking by the post Peterborough thrashing for him to get the sack. We should be mid table by then and a good half a dozen points away from the top 6.

Yep, he failed indeed..... on 09:16 - Dec 1 by Bloots | ....failed to relegate us and secure our position as a mid table 3rd Division team. What a loser. |
Who is calling MM a loser? He did a very good job under the circumstances. He failed to get us promoted, but that does not mean that it was all his fault. I was trying to make the point that even Mick, who is a good manager, could only get us near promotion once.

Just read on Twitter that Lee O'Neill was just on Suffolk.... on 09:05 - Dec 1 by Herbivore | The club does seem to be highly dismissive of outside concerns when it comes to Lambert. It's almost like the club hierarchy are in an abusive relationship with him where he's convinced them that nobody else will want them and they're nothing without him. |
People forget that this is a part time hobby for Marcus Evans, and I doubt he spends much of his day thinking about ITFC.
Just read on Twitter that Lee O'Neill was just on Suffolk.... on 09:53 - Dec 1 with 1961 views | clive_baker | Wouldn't read much into it, on the day of a game there's no value in the players thinking they can down tools. I wouldn't imagine L O'N is fully in the loop behind ME's thinking anyway to be honest, and if he is he wouldn't say anything but what he has on radio. Ultimately it's about results & league positions, he probably is harder to get rid of while we're 6th, but a few more defeats between now and Christmas and his position really should be untenable.

Just read on Twitter that Lee O'Neill was just on Suffolk.... on 09:27 - Dec 1 by Swansea_Blue | I know, but that does include cup games that he'll have explained away to ME as 'focusing on the league/too many injuries, etc'. We're still 6th and very much in the hunt. I'd be gobsmacked if ME pulls the trigger now. I don't agree, but I'm just trying to think how ME will behave based on his past record. He's a cautious man who won't want to throw away money when we're still up there imo. |
We're not in the hunt though. We're falling away and showing no signs at all of attesting it. We're only where we are because of a very kind opening 6 games where results flattered to deceive. Since then we've been toss.

Yeah that's the bottom line. There is no one at the club that speaks with any honesty, all PR spinners so wouldn't read to much into it. Statements & speeches from the club aren't worth paper they are written on.

Just read on Twitter that Lee O'Neill was just on Suffolk.... on 08:52 - Dec 1 by Herbivore | If that's the case everyone needs to take a united stand and boycott the club until they sort their sh!t out. I don't understand how they can all be so far detached from reality. |
Spot on Herbivore. The only way it seems to impact ME is if it hits him in the pocket, so collectively I think we need to make a stand to have any impact and to force a change. Whether that is not attending games, subscriptions to IFollow for matches, cancelling ST etc... As supporters it will hurt initially, but these 'BERKS' just aren't reading the room, so needs must. How can they not see the obvious? Not just our disgruntlement as a fanbase, but look at our league record for this season and our current campaign, it suggests we're a mid table side at best. Then look at our stats as a side and the little impact we have on the pitch. This is a prime example why we are poorly run and remain a shambles under ME, it's utterly pathetic.

Just read on Twitter that Lee O'Neill was just on Suffolk.... on 11:13 - Dec 1 with 1688 views | dirtyboy | Removing the very obvious emotions for a moment. I'm very firmly against Lambert at the moment for what it's worth, however.... Evans clearly would have to pay a lot of money to remove Lambert.....possibly money that's not readily available (contrary to what people think Evans does or doesn't have) As an employer, you have to allow for circumstances outside of the control of that person when considering their position. Is it Lambert's fault that half the squad are injured? That we don't know, we can speculate but don't know. Would having the following players (Downes, Bishop, Norwood, Wilson, Edwards, Nolan, Drinan, Lankester, Vincent-Young) fit and available in more games made a difference? Undoubtedly. Should an employer make allowances for those circumstances? Undoubtedly. As I see it though, there's no urgency in the play and that must change, Lambert has until January to save his job regarless of the above though and I think even Evans would see it that way, languishing in 8/9th come January would be unacceptable by any standards given our budget ....ignoring fan expectations.

Every football manager ends with failure. The only other option is retirement. It’s part of the job.

They won't be getting a single payment from me after the one that went out today unless something changes big style in the way they treat their fans and on the pitch and those who are leading those on the pitch. Bad enough paying to watch that crap with the clueless management on and off the pitch, without paying massively more per game than if I was just buying ifollow passes. THe club has taken us for a load of old fools. My first season as a season ticket holder was 94/95 and christ, that was bleak but after attending probably close to 500 games, I'm very close to saying I'm done. Would never have imagined I'd be saying this but I jthink of what else I could spend my weekends and money on and it's just far more attractive. The paranoid and deluded fools at our club need to cop the hell on and act before our great club sinks even further. Not only will they push away the younger generation of new fans that they've already squandered many of, but I can see many long term fans staying away as well sa they've just got fed up with it. I love my club, but these fools are killing it quickly.
