Many of you, pre season, when the cracks were evident, said to give him time. And at that point we’d be silly to change manager.

(Let’s also remember I wanted MM gone, but that ship has long sailed)

Not me. I wanted the clown gone over a year ago. Absolutely mental that he's still in a job.

I wanted him gone after we were relegated. Town fans way too docile and unwilling to complain.

I thought he was poor in 2018-19, but thought a bit of stability might be helpful after that crazy season. But as soon as 2019-20 started going South that should definitely have been it.

What I love is in today's press conference he says " Do you know how the salary cap works"

wasn't he the one that extended a load of contracts last season giving us a crazy squad size

In all fairness, they were there to see from pretty soon after he took over. All those limp 'improved' performances..

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I don't think there were that many.

A few, sure.

Most knew he was a waste of space by this time last year.

Aren’t existing contracts somehow outside of the cap?

Not that it is material to the key point here....which is that Lambert needs to do one.

Not sure why everyone insists on constantly dividing the fans into two camps and blaming the other one for our problems.

None of this is the fan’s fault. At all.

Not only Lambert. That group of players needed to be obliterated following the relegation too.

But the entire SBR stand clapped and cheered them for going down without a fight.

I think all extended contracts had to be reduced to the new cap didn't it? But PL would have known how many squad spaces he was filling. Plus turned down bids for players etc too.

Something we agree on. A year on and we’re worse than we were last January. Abysmal. Who’s going to hold this man accountable!?

....just ignore all the divs who constantly defended him, rather than call them out as clueless idiots.

Well said.

I was willing to give a clean slate after six months off and the initial set of results and attempt to stick to a stable line-up and style augured well...
...but it’s falling away badly now and the club is in real danger of getting stuck here or lower until we find fresh impetus both at managerial and boardroom level.

Don’t try and coat those who were willing to give it a chance after 6 months off though. We were only wanting and hoping for the best. If you think that’s a crime then feck you. And the sooner Bluefish gets himself banned again (which they will), the better.

He did come in like a breath of fresh air, he was willing to fight and had a bit about him regardless of what happened on the pitch not being great. He tried to win games when we should have played for draws to get points just to stay up, a Mick approach would have saved us in a low points relegation season - but he came over as a fighter. But 6 months of working with Evans and the set up here clearly broke him, and started doing the minimum - because that's what this club is all about.

Lambert will be sacked. However we wont appoint anyone who can save this club because Evans is, and always will be, the problem.
