The EU have had some weaknesses exposed over the vaccines but they will be forced to adapt. Perhaps they'll add some new emergency protocol to move things along faster when needed. We should be worrying our ourselves. Next time there is a crisis where there is limited resources we will likely be 'against' (I hate using that word in the circumstances but there are limited resources and every country would claim them over others) an EU which is as powerful as it is now and a lot faster to act. We need to make sure we can produce vaccines, medicines, PPE etc in this country and be ready to scale up at a moments notice. |  |
