Indeed, they are holding out for a true basket case of a club.

Nice new ground, finally back at Plough Lane. Lot of regeneration around there too, plenty of nice areas to live if you've got a few quid. Could be quite a decent job I think, and the sort of project that's right up their street where they could properly get their hands dirty across the club. Shame ME hasn't been more decisive and got them in the door here.

Why on earth would they come here? There’s nothing to come too. I think a progressive club like Wimbledon has to be a much better option for them. Lambert isn’t going anywhere for a long while yet, sadly. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Only 1 point from safety though, would be surprised if the Cowley's weren't able to keep them up. Would be a fantastic job, good fit for their ethos. If they took the job, they'd finish above us next season comfortably.

The new stadium will be the closest ground in all 4 divisions to where I was born, and where I used to go and watch Wimbledon Speedway and banger racing....if we're both in L1 next year and crowds are allowed, I will be there watching banger racing again, aka, our back 4....

I would hope our infustucture would attack them to us over Wimbledon if the job became available. Although they have a new stadium the training ground not as great. I’m sure crickets played on it throughout the summer.
Not great that one of our..... on 12:40 - Feb 4 with 3051 views | Bloots | ....relegation rivals are being linked to a proven management team. Hopefully they have higher aspirations and turn them down. Lambert out.

I suppose the only thing Marcus has left is still possibly than he can chuck in a large managerial bonus for promotion or whatever

Nigel Pearson is still available, he would be the best option for Town
