That is the most attacking bench I have ever seen!
They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!
We dont have a choice do we? Matheson. Kenlock injured Etc
Could be jackson and Edward's wide too.
Could be 4 4 2. No idea yet.

It could even be 5-3-2 with Chambers, Woolfenden, Nsiala at CB, Ward and Edwards as wing backs, Dozzell and Bishop CM with Judge in front of them and Norwood and Jackson up front.

I think we need a split from 4-3-3 for the rest of the season to break lazy old habits from the Free Beer and Improved Football era as I suspect it's too easy for the players to fall into old habits.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
I don't like it. Judge and Edwards yet again. Dozzell and Bishop in midfield meaning everyone is going to walk through them again.
Bishop and Dozzell are about our only fit CMs. And they are far from being our major problem either. Wigan were hardly walking through us last week, and the joy they did have came from wide areas. Same against Pompey for the most part. Our main problem is the players playing in front of them offer absolutely zero creativity or goal threat.
Here comes a sad but true post! We can all disagree over the odd player here and there; but like it or not, this is probably the best team we have. Yes I know all the arguments, but you can't make a silk purse etc....

Edwards and Judge did virtually nothing last game. The CM point is fair, but I don't see Bishop or Dozzell as CMs at all. It's one of the key areas to improve on. We have way too many underperformers and loanees in the wide and attacking midfield options.

If we Chambers and Edwards are wing backs in a 5-3-2, it is going to be a very long afternoon.

You don't see two players who have played their entire lives in central midfield being CMs? That's an interesting take.
