Another glorious day 09:16 - Jun 1 with 3766 viewsclive_baker

Looking like a real sizzler. Not a bad week to be getting some prospects down to the training ground / water front I would say.

What are people up to? Anything exciting, or stuck inside at your desk like me?

Far too b~~~~y hot, if you ask me. Not a day to be working outdoors, unless in some shade. It was pretty unbearable yesterday.

Mainly working this week, I did get out for an hour's walk early this morning which was nice. My living room is warm in the sun in the afternoons so might sit by the window for a bit if it is quiet.

I did spend most of the weekend outside, so that was nice. My face was glowing a little bit last night.

Chained to the desk in mother's living room for the week, sadly. But it backs out onto the garden so will go and catch some rays at lunch while the hound is running about.

Maybe even a sneaky lunchtime beer...

Off to a country house and gardens with petting zoo/farm facilities today. I’ve also booked into visiting an owl sanctuary and falconry place this weekend.

Jnr will be getting a road trip to Scotland with toblerone too at some point.

...in my "home office" (which is actually a spare bedroom that doubles up as a trainer storage facility)

A couple of 2.5 hour internal meetings, split up by the positive of having my 2nd jab booked in for 2:20pm.

So a standard dull working day, with a small sprinkle of hope.

Yeah, too hot to mow the lawn now. A smarter person would have done it earlier.

5 hours of zoom meetings sounds absolutely hellish.

Pray for Bloots.

It'll be rammed, if you're not in a car park at Thorpeness by 8:30am on a day like this, forget it! :-)

Just one small problem; sell their houses to who, Ben? Fcking Aquaman?

You'd think someone who takes pride in correcting people's grammar would be able to use the full stop and capital letter combination correctly.

Got a week off this week!

Up in yorkshire visiting eldest child for a few days - she’s got me painting her fence!

Then back to Suffolk to enjoy the rest of the week - bit of gardening, visit to the driving range and generally enjoying some sun and have a big family BBQ planned for the weekend.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?
