TEAM on 19:03 - Sep 14 by DanTheMan | In general I'd agree, although I'm guessing we're playing Jackson on the wing here and I'm not sure Pigott can play there. |
Having watched Jackson on the wing I don’t think he can play there either.

TEAM on 19:00 - Sep 14 by Pippin1970 | Tough question just looking at him as a natural goalscorer. |
I agree, think he's got a part to play and although it won't be popular he's ahead of Piggot when fully fit for me. Bonne has to play at the moment obviously, however.

TEAM on 19:10 - Sep 14 with 733 views | Kesgrave_Exile | Will be interesting where El Mizouni plays tonight, I assume he will play along Morsy with Carroll further forward. Personally I can see this going completely t*ts up tonight and Cook putting even more unnecessary pressure on himself.

TEAM on 19:02 - Sep 14 by mkbobby | Will we get fined as I thought we had to have so many starting from Saturday’s match |
Players with 40+ club appearances, for any club, will also count and we only have to have four: Holy, Vincent-Young, Woolfenden, Morsy, Carroll, Jackson and Norwood all meet that.

Too much change against a settled premier league U21 side on 19:12 - Sep 14 with 707 views | unstableblue | Only logic is getting Nolan, Norwood fit, time for b players like Carrol, Penney and Wolf Some youth in El Mizouni and young CB Also giving Morsy match time One positive is that hopefully we are fresher than Lincoln Saturday as they play tonight

TEAM on 19:12 - Sep 14 with 701 views | LegendofthePhoenix | The only way that central defensive pairing makes sense is if PC has decided that it's our strongest central defensive pairing, which frankly after Saturday might well be the case. But all this chopping and changing, it's no difference from the previous Pauls. Why can't our manager decide on his best defence and let them learn how to play together???

Bar 3 players that’s a first team squad for most L1 clubs. Against an U21 side. If that side can’t win, we really are fooked.

I'd have thought it was Morsy and Carroll in the centre with El Miz further forward.

TEAM on 19:20 - Sep 14 with 633 views | StochesStotasBlewe | Can't see the issue people are having with this line up. There is a fair sized squad for a reason. While we need a win from somewhere, this tournament is way down the priority list. It gives a few of the back up players some (fairly) competitive football also. Edmundson was not going to play having only started his first game on Saturday. KYV needs a confidence boost, so good to see him start, likewise El Mizouni and Barry. Probably the most important factor tonight is to not pick up any new bloody injuries.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

Think we've heard this a lot of times over the past 2 seasons. I am starting to wonder if fitness/illness/injuries are a problem within the squad. On the plus side great opportunity for El Mizouni and Armin looking forward to seeing how they do.

Watched with the sound down by jaykay 30 Apr 2021 21:00what i liked was we could cross a ball and the way the lads pointed to where they wanted ball played to. not like some in the first team who just wave theirs about like a demented copper on point duty.
