King of Limbs chat the most wrong in all of that.

Feral and Lotus Flower are good but is a poor album, like hail to the thief

My old but gold album is Siamese Dream by Smashing Pumpkins. First heard and loved when I was at 6th form, but come back to again and again cos it is perfect.

Music is all about opinions, imo hail to the thief and king of limbs are both poor albums, when you compare them to Kid A and In Rainbows

Hail to the thief has some good tracks like 2+2=5, Sit Down Stand Up, Myxamotus (spelt wrong i know) but 14 songs is too long too many tracks that are not great

The Bends is definitely my favourite Radiohead album.

Listened to Songs to Learn & Sing by Echo and The Bunnymen the other day. And a few times since.

Bit of a cheat as it’s more of a compilation album but a cracker nevertheless.

I Listened to Evergreen, their 'come back' album so to speak quite recently. It's a great album if a little different to their earlier output.

Siamese Dream very good. the early 90s were outstanding for albums, most of them from the USA.

A friend of mine bumped into Billy Corgan in Australia once, at a cricket match of all places. Pretty sure it was the Gabba. Corgan is a huge cricket fan apparently and was a really nice fellow.

I like it but it is very much of it's time inasmuch as they are trying to be a bit Oasis/Wonderwall.

Siamese Dream and Troublegum by Therapy? Thirteen by Teenage Fanclub, Last Splash by The Breeders, early Beck , went hand in hand for me, in early 94 either one of those would be be playing loud in my bedroom. That period from 1991 until 1994 before Britpop took over was a golden period, rave was still in full swing and the big indie/dance crossover was going down, and you had both shoegazing and grunge going on. Autumn 1991 saw Nevermind, Blue Lines, Screamadelica, Loveless, Bandwagonseque, The Black Album by Metallica

Mayonnaise has to be one of my favourite tracks of all time. Great album.

Also see Ten by Pearl Jam, Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth. Doolittle by Pixies. All brilliant.

I’m firmly of the opinion that music peaked in about 1993!

Went through a hard time in the early 90s, although I am sure they are not everyone's cup of tea these albums helped me massively.

Bossanova - Pixies
Ten - Pearl Jam
Sugar Blood sex Magik - RHCP
Nevermind - Nirvana
Out of time - REM

oops & of course Ok Computer by Radiohead. The reason that lead me to reply to this thread in the first place

I suspect (know) I'm a fair bit older than you so my suggestions will not work for you, however a couple of months ago I went through a spot of nostalgic listening when home alone for a few days.

My two that caught me again after a few years were The Specials, by The Specials and Searching For The Young Soul Rebels by Dexys.

Nostalgia aside, both great albums.

There really is something to be said for revisiting music though.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Tads 8 Way Santa very underrated album from that period. Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger bit of a classic as well
