Norwich's main 2 candidates 14:14 - Nov 12 with 6973 views | Hipsterectomy | Dean Smith and Lampard are apparently not convinced by joining them according to Sky and now the Pinkun. Did they seriously not have a person lined up ready to take over? Even Town had Roy Keane in within a few days of sacking Magilton

Didn't Lampard turn us down after seeing the budget too?

The wet lettace. Which team exactly would match up to the great Frankie's expectations and would they actually want him? Daniel, we made a horrible mistake... please forgive us and come home.

Agree with the first sentence. Why would a club want somebody who doesn’t want to be there?Recipe for disaster I’d have thought. I’ll bet there are dozens of people queuing up for a job at what pains me to say is a well run club. I hope they get Lampard because I don’t think he is very good. Edit: seeing as it won’t be Frank Lampard’s Norwich City how about Cabbage Head Bruce’s Norwich City? [Post edited 12 Nov 2021 17:20]

Fair play to skybet, they must have filled their boots on this one. Much as they did with our lot over Redknap. Pump out the stories, watch the odds drop, watch the fools hand over their money because '' the bookies must know something ''. It never seems to occur to them that if the bookies did know something, they would not be taking bets on it.

Would be great if the board came out with "on reflection we have realised we can't do better than Farke and so we have decided to reinstate him on a new 5 year contract".

With his record in local derbies, I would actually quite like him to be managing them when we next play them (even though I do like MM).

Norwich's main 2 candidates on 16:09 - Nov 12 by tractordownsouth | Think they'd have been better going down a caretaker route for the rest of the season, because it's the least attractive PL job but a really good chance for a manager to get a promotion on his CV next year. |
Agree with you tractor down south. It'd make sense to put someone In charge temporarily for the rest of the season. There's a good chance that the person coming in right now would face imminent relegation (not a great start). However, there is a strong chance they will get promoted next season. They should have kept Edmund Riemer and other key coaching staff on board until the end of the season.

Dean Smith would be a very good choice by them, unfortunately. I think Lampard made the right decision to pull out - if he’s rational he probably needs to take a step back, go for a Championship job and build up rather than enter a relegation battle as his next step.

Doesn’t take much to excite them though does it No doubt they’ll be “ world beaters” again, but I doubt it’ll change their yo-yo credentials. That’s deep rooted.

Lampard will only go for a job where there is money. Has shown it already and fits with his uncle's philosophy.

Norwich's main 2 candidates on 11:50 - Nov 13 with 964 views | N2_Blue | Unfortunately for everyone's glee about them struggling to appoint a manager, Dean Smith would be a very good appointment and now looks done. Crazy Villa sacked him, they sold their best player and have so many injuries that led to a run of bad form but villa are still a very good side and he is a very good manager. Thy went way to early in getting rid and will regret sacking him and don't think Norwich could have appointed better.
