We're fairly consistent. We manage a good win every 3-4 weeks (first 6 games excepted) and then follow it with 4 or 5 performances that range from 'meh' to 'oh ffs'. We're probably due one of the good wins again soon, hopefully. |
One of the next three will definitely be another 'statement win' that 'sends a message to the division'.
Followed by another two disappointing ones that see us drift slightly down it. |  |

There is huge expectation here, and if we are not doing well there are plenty of people waiting to stick the boot in. The reality is a lot of football players don’t have that mental strength but a winning team is generally a team of players that do.
The defensive recruitment did not go well last summer.
It’s shame we can transfer some of our so called fans, because we need an overhaul in that department too. |
You're right, it would be great if we could bin off those fans who are happy to accept mediocrity and defend continued under performance. They are holding the club back. |  |

He was talking about the previous 2 years. And then went on to do what he felt was wrong for the club originally.. so any more signings in Jan just continues the contradiction. |
For me there has been far too many players coming in over the years, however as far as I was concerned the whole team that has failed for the last couple of years needed bombing out. The whole club needed the big reset. The 19 in this summer is the beginning of the foundations. Could any manager get that many players in and just get it going from day dot? I don’t think so. For me when he started the demolition I though cook needed 2 years and 4 windows. Overhaul the team, then use the subsequent windows to “tinker” the squad.
For me I still believe cook will get it sorted. We have been consistently inconsistent, however for me this season is light years better than what we’ve watched for many years and I truly believe if fans stick with cook and the team we will be in for a great ride over the next few years. |  | | |

Cook is still a genius apparently, he's just unlucky that he keeps ending up with players that don't perform for him and fans that question him. Nah you’re trying way too hard here. Cook has always been honest and most fans know we need to better but also understand things won’t happen over night. Cook has a great philosophy which is worth persevering with IMO and no amount of aggressive, smug sniping will change my mind on that. This is only my opinion but i think long term success is built on repetition and consistency which can only happen given time. Maybe I’m a mug and you can feel free to belittle and do whatever it is you do but it’s only my opinion. Nothing else and not itfcjoes. |  | | |

Clearly you're not sorry or you wouldn't have made such an ill thought out post in the first place. I wanted Cook as our manager, I thought he'd do well here. Me being proved right would mean Cook leading us to promotion in May. So yeah, I'd love to be proved right but me being proved right doesn't equate to Town continuing to underperform.
