Frankly, he has been a cunit all of his life and as his former headmaster said he thinks the rules don’t apply to him.

Max Hastings collumn on him was a thing of beauty. How any Tory MP could think he was fit for senior office is beyond me. They knew what he was like, but were more interested in their careers than in putting the country first. |  |

It won't make any difference here but I don't want socialist voices silenced in what should be a party inclusive of socialist views. If people want conservatism with red lipstick they're more than welcome to it, but I won't be voting for it. [Post edited 12 Dec 2021 0:05]

which of starmer/rayner's policies are you so opposed to that you'd prefer the tories to prevail against them?
i'd consider myself left of starmer/corbyn etc, but i'd always vote for labour in a general election. weak socialism is better than nationalistic capitalism every day of the week. if the only viable opposition was the lib-dems, i'd even vote for them!
i vote green when it's pr, but the consequences of voting to let the tories in at a general election are too dire to consider | |

The problem is he always said he didn't want it? - has he changed his mind? If he were returned to Westminster, and Labour were able to sub him for Starmer, they'd win by a landslide at the next GE.

I really don't understand this love for Burnham. Whilst the left may prefer him to Starmer, he would push away the sorts of middle of the road voters labour need to secure a majority.
