He’ll be fine – it’s probably been a real eye-opener to see a football team on the slide. Although how he can go from world-class for Scotland (and way ahead of McLean) to a bench player for Norwich is beyond me.

James Madison, again a good player but his know it all look all the time is annoying...and not what you expect from someone playing for Brendan Rogers or Leicester. Maybe it is a bad habit he picked up from somewhere earlier in his career.

Yes, Souness was difficult to love even as a Scotland fan.

The whole Bale thing is quite weird. I know he’s on a lot of money at Real but there must be a point where earning so much is irrelevant whilst being on the bench. When compared to being paid so much at another club (albeit on a lesser amount) but being a regular, playing at a high level and standing a chance of winning trophies. | | | |
