Watching some Prem highlights and realising I have a stronger dislike for certain players, but cannot put my finger on why… Does anyone else have this. Two that come to mind for me are

This seems to have turned into a players you dislike for a reason thread, so on that note:
Ryan Fraser. Great down here but proved he is a complete tw@t with the way he left Bournemouth. I have no real love for Bournemouth but for him to refuse to play (he would have been fully insured) and then run his mouth about how he could have saved Bournemouth just says it all for me about his character. If I was Eddie Howe he would have been immediately binned off to the under 23s at Newcastle. |  |

Adam Webster. I should like him being ex-Ipswich and all that, but it felt like everyone just went on and on about him being this great ball-playing centre half, I always thought his passing ability was closer to Berra's than Woolfenden's. 5 million at the time was still the right decision. Plus he was never not injured but I loved McGoldrick so I don't think I dislike him for this reason. |  |

Indeed. I suspect that, even among his team-mates, Souness and his attitude were never that popular. |

You don’t know the person. From then on, he was no hero of mine. As a human being, Tommy Smith was a disappointment, a complete let-down.

Back in the 80’s I had an irrational dislike of Chris Hughton and Nigel Worthington both of course who ended managing Norwich so perhaps my subconscious knew something!

Chris Wood. He looked so average for us, yet a short time later he became a cult hero for Burnley, then Newcastle.
He was so .... bland and ineffective for us... how did A turn in to B so quickly... |

Now: Pickford with his antics, Grealish with his alice band, Ronaldo - great player but he’s always annoyed me.
Yesteryear: Roy Keane - it was the look on his face that irritated as much as anything else, Suarez - a good swing with a baseball bat would have sorted those teeth, Gary Lineker - just annoyed me for no reason whatsoever. Still does. |  | | |
