As a proud Welshman and a Ipswich fan I really find it amusing whati is being said about the commentary tonight ,you really need to take a look at muppets like Rio Ferdinand who already thinks England have won the World Cup, we’re a small nation punching way above our weight,we will come away from the World Cup as winners whatever,England on the other hand ,well you all know it always ends up 🙈

I think there should be a huge mark of respect for all the Welsh supporters who got into the stadium with those beanie hats with the rainbow trim on them by the way.

My comment was not tongue in cheek (for a change), I am genuinely impressed by the hat gesture.

And I live in Scotland.

The best bit was when Bale was hacked down on the half-way line and Hartson claimed he was going to score from there.

Was roaring with laughter at the audacity of that tackle/chance combined was my moment of the match.

Your nationality, unless your American, is determined by your place of birth, not the nationality of your parents.

My wife’s mother was Welsh, her father a Scot. She was born in Wales and considers herself Welsh, although she usually supports England. She was 6 the last time Wales qualified for World Cup finals.

We are of course all British.

My American?

Hmmmmmm..........I don't think you find it amusing really. I'm getting the impression that you are finding it rather irksome.

I wouldn't bother even listening to the Studio rubbish, but if you do, don't take what Ferdinand says. he predicted 2 penalty misses you know......the other pundits look at him in surprise. Must have said it in his head.

He's full of his own stuff....haha

A massive amount (almost all) of the bucket hats don't have any rainbow reference.

I’m neither English or Welsh but have to say the commentary from Hartson was some of the most bias I have ever heard. Reminded me of when Sky used to let fans commentate on the red button.

Even without the bias, he's a rubbish commentator.

Sorry, didn't realise we had the hired help Lucan has got selling the hats the Welsh support don't want in Qatar as a contributor to the forum. Hope it is not too hot out there for you...

Good effort against Iran.

The football was a joy to watch.

I really think English players are under so much pressure to perform,Wales have a free hit as nothing is expected of them, the way the press and media treat harry maguire for example is shocking,so much is expected of them that the joy of representing your country is taken away, wales players just seem to really enjoy playing. Good luck you’ll probably smash us Tuesday 🙈

You will clearly give 50% extra effort against us Tuesday and will score your first goal from open football.

That's what Wales do - fight, show heart, passion.....apart from today.

Well I've seen some Welsh fans claim the Iranian player ran into Hennesseys leg so should be booked for simulation...I expect it was along those lines 😉

Yep, Hartson was biased and passionate. I’ve no problem with that whatsoever. Better than some of the bland punditry.

Hartson’s book about his battle with cancer (called Please Don’t Go) is well worth a read by the way.
