We have a couple of my partners friends coming over for the weekend. Both are football fans but have both decided to boycott the WC - that’s their call to make.
Would you watch the England match on the big brilliant telly and kinda force them to watch. Or should I retire to the bedroom to watch alone?
My partner, likes football as well, but she only watches the big international match as well and she wants to watch as well.

Watch the game on the big telly. If I were them and I'd feel more awkward if you disappeared off to the bedroom. In any case, their chocie is for them and its your house, so their morals are immaterial there - you're almost doing them a Favour: they get to watch the footy and not break their code.. |  |
