Depends which game tbh.
After Charlton this season it genuinely took me a few days to recover. As did the Norwich away game with Klose in the last min.

I started going to matches as a 10 year old in 1970. From then until into my 30's, a bad performance or result would completely feck up the rest of the weekend?midweek. My son is nearly 23 and he's a bit like my old self.
Nowadays, i'm more inclined to put things into perspective, open a bottle of red and be more relaxed about it, though will occasionally still have my moments. |  |

saturday night i barely spoke to anyone in the house, miserable as fck.
this ran into sunday, up to about lunch time.
then thought i'd moved on until people at work asked about the game yesterday, and i felt pissed off again.

when Plymouth scored it was like all the air had been taken from the stadium.
Coming out of the Cobbold, it was very quiet not many people speaking just wanting to get out of the stadium.

I would love to say that it doesn't affect me but it does.
I must have watched the game highlights a dozen times....still draw.
It sets the tone for the whole weekend (for me) and I have to be on my guard to not let that ruin others weekend. |  |

Defo agree being middle aged helps.
Came out of the Charlton game, probably as disappointing a finish as it gets, and watched some youngsters loudly cursing about the result, one muppet even kicked a bin over in his anger...

Honestly I feel pissed off until I start doing something else, or someone else asks me about it. The latter will wear off in a few hours after the game and I'll just laugh about it. What's the point of being stressed?

I’m p!ssed off for the remainder of the day if we lose (which is rare) or now if we draw
Pretty OK and upbeat after that as I’m enjoying the football. Poor entertainment and a poor result is where I struggle - ‘what was the point of going?!’
What issue for me at the movement is I am getting far too would up/ fire up before a game and during it… very invested in the McKenna and Gamechanger project and the players this season… perhaps need to chill out a bit!!

I've generally been pretty good since McKenna came in, having faith in the owners and the management in the long term makes short term disappointment easier to stomach. However, Saturday put me in a right mood that I've still not completely come out of. Wouldn't have been so bad had it been anyone but Mumba that got their goal. | |
