Shame for him to move on, what with him being a local lad and a massive town fan. Be interesting to see where he’s heading

Perhaps not a surprise…

Clearly one of them was departing as Mark Heath was advertising a vacancy.

Believe he’s part of the Town TV thing they’re launching.

Sounds like he's moving to a pretty good gig - glad he's remaining in the Town sphere and be interesting to see what role he's taking on. Congrats to him.

Assume he means because of the new TV deal (effective from 24/25) but can’t see that stopping anything.

This suggests Gamechanger are looking to make our new media venture a serious, professional thing. No surprise from them, but I did wonder if it was going to be an improvement on iFollow, as some club’s tv streams are pretty amateur.

Oh I see. Yeah that does make sense. I guess town TV will have to adapt to be more than just a matchday experience. Prem clubs have been doing this for a long time. Would be a project of dreams to get involved with and get off the ground. The possibilities in sports media when directly involved at the club are endless. There's so much creative you can do and offer to get fans inside the thing they are often most passionate about.

Thought it might’ve been Watson leaving after that job advert the other week, wouldn’t be surprised to see him as our Athletic reporter one day.

Warren leaving a sinking ship IMO, good move from him.

Yep, I seen he left but I heard Warren was going to be involved in Town TV. Also heard Mark Murphy would be in some capacity too. We’ll see.

Yeah, interviews, player appearances, keeping the likes of me in order when we're speaking to players, social media etc.

Id assumed the club wanted to get rid of iFollow and get hold of that audience themselves. But it does seem like Sky have had the same idea.
Currently, when we play on a Tuesday night, then iFollow is doing great business, which Town TV could claim instead. But if Sky are going to be doing it already, particularly as part of a subscription, Im not so sure the UK market will be the same.
And iFollow does well on VPNs for 3pm kick offs, but Sky are going to move almost half of the weekend championship fixtures into other slots so they can stream them anyway....
