If we can't compete financially for players like Trusty, etc then taking greater risk on injuries is one way of potentially unearthing hidden value - that comes with risk that they suffer another injury but if the option is a more 'average' player then maybe we need the tradeoff.
Defensively the issue would seem to be that Edmundson's injury record has also been poor since his initial ankle injury and we'd have two 'high risk' CB options. Maybe that's why Baggott hasn't gone out on loan yet? | |
