I've no idea. And importantly nor does anyone.
The main thing is the money to buy ITFC came from ORG. The 5% that 'The Three Lions' got was effectively a 'finders fee'.

It looks to be a huge stadium investment for a small club to use. Perhaps the strategy was to move a larger franchise in to use it but it's not a good look

And the stuff about the other club Tucson FC and their tiny crowds in the USL… no surprise at all there. My in laws have a home down there where they go in the winter. It’s a desert town full of retirees. Not in any way a city where you’d expect “soccer” to flourish. | |
